    상기한 목적을 달성하기 위한 기술구성은, 상부 금형(20) 내에 거치되는 백 플레이트(10) 상에 금속 성분이 포함된 마모 인디케이터(13)의 성형 분말을 투입하고, 상기 마모 인디케이터(13)의 성형 분말과 이종 재료로 된 마찰재(12)의 성형 분말을 상기 마모 인디케이터(13)를 덮도록 투입한 다음, 하부 금형(25)을 이용하여 가압 성형함으로써 브레이크 패드를 제조한다.
