Abstract: A multiple disc clutch is provided to raise the efficiency of a transmission by easily separating a clutch disc from a clutch plate so that a drag torque is reduced. A multiple disc clutch comprises a plurality of clutch plates(6) installed in a clutch retainer. Clutch discs(12) are installed between the clutch plates. A piston is installed at an inner side of the clutch retainer so that a hydraulic chamber is formed between the clutch retainer and the piston. A return spring is installed opposite to the hydraulic chamber to constantly push the piston toward the hydraulic chamber. A friction material of the clutch disc is equally divided in half to form inner and outer friction materials. The outer friction material is thicker than the inner friction material so that a protrusion is formed on a boundary part.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A-pillar stiffness structure using an open box type cowl-complete is provided to prevent the use of a special bracket and increase of the number of workers. CONSTITUTION: A-pillar stiffness structure using an open box type cowl-complete comprises a cowl panel(1) in which a cowl-complete(C) crosses an A-pillar; a cowl-top panel(2) to which a side bracket is attached to reinforce stiffness of the side; a reinforcing panel(3) welded and joined to form a closed section in the longitudinal direction of the panels; and an extension panel welded and joined to the A-pillar portion at which the panels are located. The cowl-top panel is welded and joined to the upper part of the cowl panel. Thus, stiffness of the A-pillar portion is reinforced, using the cowl-complete, by weld work without using a bolt.
