    Abstract: Disclosed is a molding material based - relative to the molding material formed by A and B - on 60 to 98 wt.% hard matrix A of polymerized or copolymerized units of at least one vinyl aromatic monomer or at least one vinyl aromatic monomer and at least one polar comonomer and on 2 to 40 wt.% soft phase B formed from a hydrogenated or unhydrogenated block copolymer produced by anionic polymerization and consisting of a vinyl aromatic monomer V and a diene D which has at least one statically or quasi-statically structured block (V/D) of vinyl aromatic monomer and diene and contains 10 to 80 wt.% matrix material (a) occlusions formed during the polymerization of hard matrix A in the presence of the block rubber. Disclosed also is the use of this molding material to produce foils, plates or moldings.
