Abstract: A process is described for preparing 3-pentenenitrile, characterized by the following process steps: (a) isomerizing a reactant stream which comprises 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile over at least one dissolved or dispersed isomerization catalyst to give a stream 1 which comprises the at least one isomerization catalyst, 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile, 3-pentenenitrile and (Z)-2-methyl-2-butenenitrile, (b) distilling stream 1 to obtain a stream 2 as the top product which comprises 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile, 3-pentenenitrile and (Z)-2-methyl-2-butenenitrile, and a stream 3 as the bottom product which comprises the at least one isomerization catalyst, (c) distilling stream 2 to obtain a stream 4 as the top product which, compared to stream 2, is enriched in (Z)-2-methyl-2-butenenitrile, based on the sum of all pentenenitriles in stream 2, and a stream 5 as the bottom product which, compared to stream 2, is enriched in 3-pentenenitrile and 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile, based on the sum of all pentenenitriles in stream 2, (d) distilling stream 5 to obtain a stream 6 as the bottom product which comprises 3-pentenenitrile and a stream 7 as the top product which comprises 2-methyl-3-butenenitrile.

Abstract: Procedimiento para el retorno continuo de propeno no convertido durante la oxidación de propeno saturado, que contiene propano como hidrocarburo saturado, con hidroperóxido, para obtener óxido de propeno, contenido en el flujo de gas de escape obtenido durante la oxidación y que contiene propano, caracterizado porque comprende los pasos (i) a (iii) (i) separación del propeno y del propano del flujo de gas de escape a través de la absorción en un hidrocarburo, (ii) desorción del propeno y del propano del hidrocarburo, asimismo, la mezcla de propeno y propano es separada a una presión de 1 a 3 bar en una columna de destilación, en forma líquida, o en una evaporación de distensión a una presión de 1 a 3 bar y una temperatura de 50 a 100ºC, en forma de vapor; (iii) retorno del propeno obtenido en el paso (ii) al proceso de oxidación, asimismo, la mezcla de propeno/propano obtenida tras la separación del hidrocarburo es separada en propeno y propano un dispositivo de separación C3, antes del retorno del propeno al proceso de oxidación.

Abstract: Procedimiento para producir óxido de propileno, que presenta al menos los pasos siguientes: (a) Se transforma propenal con peróxido de hidrógeno en un disolvente en presencia de un catalizador de ceolito, con obtención de una mezcla (G0), en donde la mezcla (G0) presenta al menos óxido de propileno, disolvente, propenal no transformado, peróxido de hidrógeno no transformado y oxígeno, (b) el óxido de propileno se separa de la mezcla (G0) de tal modo, que se obtiene una mezcla (G1) que contiene propenal no transformado y oxígeno, en donde (c) se usa la mezcla, en donde en el marco de este uso el propenal contenido en la mezcla (G1) no se realimenta a la transformación conforme a (a) y en donde la mezcla (G1) se utiliza para obtener energía, en donde la mezcla (G1) (aa) se alimenta al menos a otro dispositivo de elaboración, (bb) se quema en el mismo y (cc) el calor de combustión producido conforme a (bb) se utiliza para obtener vapor de agua, en donde el vapor de agua se utiliza como portador de energía para gestionar colonias de destilación en el procedimiento para producir óxido de propileno.

Abstract: A continuous process for the preparation of propylene oxide, comprising (i) providing a liquid feed stream comprising propene, hydrogen peroxide, acetonitrile, water, optionally propane, and at least one dissolved potassium salt of a phosphorus oxyacid wherein the molar ratio of potassium relative to phosphorus in the at least one potassium salt of a phosphorus oxyacid is in the range of from 0.6 to 1.4; (ii) passing the liquid feed stream provided in (i) into an epoxidation reactor comprising a catalyst comprising a titanium zeolite of structure type MWW comprising zinc, and subjecting the liquid feed stream to epoxidation reaction conditions in the epoxidation reactor, obtaining a reaction mixture comprising propylene oxide, acetonitrile, water, the at least one dissolved potassium salt of a phosphorus oxyacid, optionally propene, and optionally propane; (iii) removing an effluent stream from the epoxidation reactor, the effluent stream comprising propylene oxide, acetonitrile, water, at least a portion of the at least one dissolved potassium salt of a phosphorus oxyacid, optionally propene, and optionally propane.
