Abstract: Métodos y aparatos de comunicaciones inalámbricas de quinta generación, que incluyen un método ejemplificativo, en un dispositivo inalámbrico, que a su vez incluye recibir una señal de enlace descendente que comprende un índice de configuraciones de acceso de enlace ascendente y lo usa para identificar una configuración de acceso de enlace ascendente entre una pluralidad predeterminada de configuraciones de acceso de enlace ascendente, y efectuar Ia transmisión a Ia red de comunicaciones inalámbricas de acuerdo con Ia configuración de acceso de enlace ascendente identificada. El método ejemplificativo además incluye, en el mismo dispositivo inalámbrico, recibir en una primera subtrama de enlace descendente, una primera transmisión de multiplexación por división de frecuencia ortogonal (OFDM) con formato acorde con una primera numerología y recibir, en una segunda subtrama de enlace descendente, una segunda transmisión OFDM con formato acorde con una segunda numerología, que difiere de Ia primera, donde Ia primera numerología tiene un primer espaciado de subportadoras y Ia segunda numerología tiene un segundo espaciado de subportadoras, y el primer espaciado difiere del segundo. También se divulgan variantes de este método, correspondientes aparatos y correspondientes métodos y aparatos del lado de Ia red.

Abstract: Methods performed by a wireless device, such as a user equipment, operating in a dormant mode comprise performing a measurement on each of a plurality of resources from a predetermined set of resources or demodulating and decoding information from each of a plurality of resources from a predetermined set of resources, such as a set of beams. The methods further include evaluating the measurement or the demodulated and decoded information for each of the plurality of resources against a predetermined criterion, and then discontinuing the performing and evaluating of measurements, or discontinuing the demodulating and decoding and evaluation of information, in response to determining that the predetermined criterion is met, such that one or more resources in the predetermined set of resources are neither measured nor demodulated and decoded. The methods further comprise deactivating receiver circuitry, further in response to determining that the predetermined criterion is met. The method further comprises receiving, in a first downlink subframe, a first Orthogonal Frequency-Division Multiplexing transmission formatted according to a first numerology and receiving, in a second downlink subframe, a second OFDM transmission formatted according to a second numerology, the second numerology differing from the first numerology.

Abstract: A method and a base station(800) for supporting communication over a cellular radio link between the base station and a first wireless device (D1). The base station (800) obtains a first path gain (G1) of a cellular radio link to the first wireless device (D1), a second path gain (G2) of a cellular radio link to a second wireless device (D2), and a third path gain (G12) of a Device-to-Device, D2D radio link between the first wireless device (D1) and the second wireless device (D2). When the first, second and third path gains satisfy a threshold condition, the base station (800) instructs the second wireless device (D2) to apply network coding on first data (x1) transmitted from the first wireless device (D1) and to transmit a network coded form of the first data (x1). The base station (800) then receives a radio signal with the first data (x1) transmitted from the first wireless device (D1), and uses the network coded form of the first data transmitted by the second wireless device (D2) for decoding the first data (x1).

Abstract: A method of a wireless communication device adapted to perform device-to-device communication is disclosed. The method comprises transmitting an indication of device-to-device communication capability to a network node, receiving one or more beacon parameters allocated to one or more second wireless communication devices adapted to perform device-to device communication, monitoring device-to-device communication beacon signaling based on the received beacon parameters, and performing at least one radio operation task based on measurements of the monitored device-to-device communication beacon signaling. The at least one radio operation task may comprise using the measurements of the monitored device-to-device communication beacon signaling to select or re-select one of the one or more second wireless communication devices for device-to-device communication, and/or transmitting a beacon measurement report to the network node based on the monitored device-to-device communication beacon signaling. Another method of a wireless communication device comprises receiving one or more beacon parameters allocated to the wireless communication device from a network node, transmitting device-to-device communication beacon signaling based on the received beacon parameters, and receiving a beacon measurement report from the network node indicating detection of the transmitted beacon by one or more second wireless communication devices. Corresponding methods of a network node are also disclosed as well as corresponding arrangements, wireless communication devices and network nodes.
