    Abstract: A wireless network including user equipment (UE) and base stations is configured to perform position determination with low latency and high availability within the Time-Sensitive Networking (TSN) framework. For example, the UE may be integrated as a sensor in a motion control system or similar applications. The UE and base stations are synchronized with the TSN clock, and are configured to perform positioning measurements at a specific time point within the TSN framework. The time point, for example, may be a global sampling point, at which all sensor nodes in the TSN framework perform position measurements. A location server may be provided with the positioning measurements or a position estimate from the UE and provide the position estimate to an external client, such as a motion controller in a motion control system.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device may receive a clear channel assessment trigger from a second wireless device, the clear channel assessment trigger associated with a data transmission by the second wireless device. The first wireless device may transmit, based at least in part on a result of a first clear channel assessment procedure, feedback information for the clear channel assessment trigger. The first wireless device may receive the data transmission based at least in part on the feedback information for the first clear channel assessment procedure. The first wireless device may transmit, based at least in part on a result of a second clear channel assessment procedure, feedback information for the data transmission, wherein the first clear channel assessment procedure has a first duration that is longer than a second duration for the second clear channel assessment procedure.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A wireless device may identify, for an initial slot of a periodic interval, a number of symbols included in the initial slot and a length of cyclic prefixes used for the symbols included in the initial slot based on a subcarrier spacing that is configured for wireless communication. The length of a first set of cyclic prefixes may be based on a length of a cyclic prefix calculated for an initial symbol of the initial slot at the configured subcarrier spacing. The wireless device may perform communications based on the determined number of symbols and length of cyclic prefixes included in the initial slot. Performing communications may include allocating resources based on a length of the cyclic prefixes used for the symbols included in the initial slot.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for transmitting a positioning reference signal over a channel within a window including a set of positioning reference signal transmission opportunities. A device may identify the window and perform a channel access procedure to access the channel during the window. Based on performing the channel access procedure, the device may obtain access to the channel and determine that a portion of the positioning reference signal transmission opportunities are remaining within the window. The device may transmit a positioning reference signal during one or more of the remaining positioning reference signal transmission opportunities. In some cases, the device may refrain from transmitting a positioning reference signal during a portion of a positioning reference signal transmission opportunity even if the device gains access to the channel during that portion of the positioning reference signal transmission opportunity.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for synchronization signal block (SSB) design are described to enable a base station to configure and transmit an SSB with a peak to average power ratio (PAPR) below a threshold. A low-PAPR SSB configuration may include a primary synchronization signal (PSS), a physical broadcast channel (PBCH), and a secondary synchronization signal (SSS). A user equipment (UE) may use the low-PAPR SSB configuration to monitor for and decode the SSB and begin communications with the base station. A low-PAPR SSB configuration may indicate available PSS sequences and lengths. A low-PAPR SSB configuration may also indicate multiplexing and symbol arrangements for a PBCH, DMRS, and SSS, and low-PAPR communications methods. A configuration may further indicate reference signal configurations, information for different communication types, subcarrier spacing, a number of symbols of an SSB, or a number of available SSBs and associated groups.
