Abstract: PURPOSE: An air regulator is provided to control the flow and air pressure supplied to a turbocharger by constantly maintaining the internal air pressure of a decompression chamber. CONSTITUTION: An air regulator comprises a body(20), a solenoid valve(30), and a pressure control unit(40). The body comprises an air inlet(21), an air outle(22), a flow path, orifice(231), and a decompression chamber(232). The air moves along the flow path. The orifice and the decompression chamber reduce pressure of air flowing inside. The solenoid valve controls the amount of the air flowing into the orifice through the air inlet. The pressure control unit constantly maintains the air pressure by expansion and contraction of a diaphragm after decompressing the air flowing into the decompression chamber with constant pressure. The solenoid valve is detachably connected to an upper part of the body.
