Abstract:
PURPOSE: A composition containing an extract of Rumex crispus or Rumex japonicus obtained by extracting in methanol and then successively extracting in various organic solvents is provided. Therefore, the composition is effective in eradicating the causative agent of powdery mildew on crops such as Sphaerotheca fuliginea, Blumeria graminis. CONSTITUTION: Rumex crispus or Rumex japonicus is extracted in 80% methanol, the extract is concentrated under reduced pressure, dissolved in 80% methanol and extracted in hexane. Then, the extract is dissolved in 80% methanol, concentrated under reduced pressure, extracted in ethyl acetate and then concentrated under reduced pressure. The composition for controlling powdery mildew contains the extract in the range of 0.0037 to 0.3g/ml, preferably 0.011 to 0.3g/ml, based on the weight of raw material. For an example, the Rumex crispus or Rumex japonicus extract shows a control value of 60 to 100% against barley powdery mildew.

PURPOSE: The 1-phenyl 4-azolyl pyrazole derivatives, a producing method thereof, and a bactericidal composition containing the derivatives useful for agriculture and gardening are provided for killing a wide range of plant bacteria having tolerance to the conventional bactericides. CONSTITUTION: The 1-phenyl 4-azolyl pyrazole derivatives useful as a bactericidal agent are represented by the formula (1), in which n is an integer of 0 to 2; X is 1 to 3 of C1-C3 alkyl, 1 to 3 of chloro, 1 to 3 of fluoro, 1 to 3 of C1-3 alkoxy, nitro, trihaloalkyl, 3,4-ethylenedioxy, or substituted or unsubstituted phenyl or phenoxy; Y is hydrogen, 1 to 3 of C1-C3 alkyl, 1 to 3 of chloro, 1 to 3 of fluoro, 1 to 3 of C1-3 alkoxy, nitro, trihaloalkyl, or substituted or unsubstituted phenyl; and Z is CH or N. The 1-phenyl 4-azolyl pyrazole derivatives is produced by reacting azolyl alpha-oxo ketenedithioacetal of formula (2) with phenylhydrazin of formula (3) in organic solvents. The bactericidal composition contains an effective amount of the 1-phenyl 4-azolyl pyrazole derivatives.
Abstract:
PURPOSE: A composition for measuring the agricultural chemicals absorption of plants and a method for assorting an agricultural chemicals accelerator using the composite are provided. CONSTITUTION: A composition for measuring the agricultural chemicals absorption of plants contains a congo red as an activated agricultural chemicals and a tracer. The composition is applied to the base and the substrate of the plants. The agricultural chemicals and the congo red are abstracted from the base and the substrate of the plants by being cleansed with a solution. The concentrations of the congo red and the agricultural chemicals in the cleansing solution are measured and finally, the agricultural chemicals absorption of the plants are outputted.
