Abstract: A method and a wireless sensor network selecting a head node for the clustering of the wireless sensor network based on EDR are provided to select the node which the EDR is big as a head node by calculating the EDR of the node from distance ratio between the energy of a sensor node and a sink node. A sink node(100) receives data to the wireless communication. A plurality of sensor nodes transmits the sensing data to the sink node. The sensor nodes comprises a member node(20) and a head node(10). The head node collects sensing data from the member node and transmits the sensing data to the sink node. The head node is EDR(Energy to Distance Ratio) selected by the sensor nodes.

Abstract: An apparatus for providing a context-aware service and a method thereof are provided to reflect a new context description or the change of an existing situation, more conveniently by defining the context based on the description method. A user context model unit(200) comprises a context management unit(240), a context rule unit(210), a state transition model(230) and a converting unit. Information related to at least one context information is defined in the script type in a context rule. The state transition model is formed by one or more transitions which connect a plurality of states. According as a new context is generated correspondingly to the change of an external environment, the transition is generated from the first state to the second state.

Abstract: A service recommending method for a network-based robot and a service recommending apparatus for appropriately providing various services by learning a service use pattern through network-based robot are provided to offer various services by learning service use pattern through interaction with a user. The study information of each table is initialized(S20). In the case in which the new user of the network-based robot is added, the study information of the table corresponding to the corresponding user is initialized. The network-based robot determines whether a service is requested by a user(S30). A table value corresponding to the service is performed by a user requests with the renewal each table(S40). The user is determined because there is no service request from the user. The service is recommended based on the workbook content of the table to present user(S60). Abstract: A computer implemented data access system uses an SOAP-XML for use in an Internet web environment. The data access system includes a client, a web server, an EJB and service server and a gateway. The client requests a query language to receive a service request. The web server generates a SOAP-XML message and makes possible Internet web services by using DLL files if the SOAP-XML message is written by an ASP.
