Abstract: PURPOSE: An electric braking apparatus is provided to reduce the releasing time of a brake and compensate the wear of a friction pad automatically. CONSTITUTION: An electric braking apparatus comprises a pressure member(30), a push rod(40), an actuator disk(50), a non-rotating lamp(70), a first spring(62), and a rotating lamp(80). The pressure member is contacted with a second friction pad(24) and comprises a screw thread in the rear inner portion. The front end(42) of the push rod is coupled with the inner circumference of the pressure member and comprises a push rod groove(46) in the inner portion of the rear end(32) of the push rod. The actuator disk moves the push rod forward. The non-rotating lamp presses the push rod forward. The first spring applies force to the push rod corresponding to the force of the non-rotating lamp. The rotation ramp converts the rotation power of a motor to linear power of the non-rotating lamp and is projected forward through the non-rotating lamp.
