Abstract: PURPOSE: An intake valve is provided to prevent the carbon deposits of the intake valve applied to a gasoline direction injection (GDI) engine by maintaining the temperature of a neck part for connecting a valve head and a valve stem at 200 deg. or less. CONSTITUTION: An intake valve comprises a valve head (3) and a void (4). The valve head is extended from a neck part (2) to open and close an intake passage connected to a combustion chamber. The neck part is formed in one end of a valve stem (1). The void makes an internal space of the valve head in a vacuum state so that heat transferred from the flames of the combustion chamber cannot be transferred to the neck part. Abstract: An intake manifold structure of an engine for a vehicle is provided to simply improve performance of an intake system by making total shape of a runner from an inlet to the port to have the same shape as a port, and to freely form three upper/intermediate/lower plates by using plastic material. An intake manifold structure of an engine for a vehicle comprises a throttle mechanism, a surge tank(10) and a plurality of runners(11). The throttle mechanism controls flow amount of suction air flowed through an intake pipe path according to a stepping-up degree of a gas pedal. The surge tank is connected to the throttle mechanism and stabilizes flow of intake air flowed from the throttle mechanism. The plurality of runners is integrally connected with the surge tank and separately communicated with a combustion chamber of the engine according to each cylinder. A section of the runner has the same shape as a port(11a) of the runner.
