    Abstract: A thermoelectric module coupling structure for a thermoelectric power generating apparatus includes a thermoelectric module with one side being mounted on the outer surface of an exhaust pipe, through which exhaust gas flows in a longitudinal direction; a cooling water tube mounted on the other surface of the thermoelectric module through which cooling water flows; and a clamping member electrically connected to the thermoelectric modules. The thermoelectric modules are divided into groups in which the thermoelectric modules are connected to each other, and each group is electrically connected to the corresponding clamping member. The electrical connection of the thermoelectric modules constituting each group is serial connection. Since the thermoelectric modules are grouped into a thermoelectric module in which a temperature difference between a heat source and a cool source is relatively small, and then are electrically connected to each other, the power generation amount can be effectively increased.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a variable valve structure of a vehicle muffler. The variable valve structure of a vehicle muffler can reduce the booming noise of a vehicle when the vehicle is driving in a low-load condition and acquire a sufficient opening value of the valve when the vehicle is driving in a high-load condition. More specifically, the variable valve structure according to the present invention is formed on an end of a flow pipe discharging exhaust gas. CONSTITUTION: A thermoelectric power generator for vehicles comprises a high temperature part, a low temperature part, and a plurality of thermoelectric modules(130). The high temperature part comprises an exhaust pipe, a first ring-shaped heat transfer plate(119), and a plurality of first heat exchange pins(117). The first heat transfer plate is installed on the outer periphery of the exhaust pipe, and heated by the exhaust pipe. The plurality of first heat exchange pins is radially placed on the first heat transfer plate at every predetermined angle. The low temperature part comprises an inner casing, an outer casing, a second ring-shaped heat transfer plate(129), and a plurality of second heat exchange pins(127). The low temperature part has a coolant path between the inner and outer casings, and the second heat transfer plate contacts with the inner periphery of the inner casing. The second heat exchange pins are integrally formed on the second heat transfer plate, and radially placed at the same angles with the first heat exchange pins. The plurality of thermoelectric modules generates electricity using temperature difference between the first and second heat exchange pins.
