    Abstract: A method of desalting salted food using a desalted water producing apparatus without underground water or municipal water is provided to reduce the desalting time to about 2.5 days and produce the salted food with extremely low salt concentration. Salted food is put into desalted water and subjected to desalting for 10 to 80hr in a first step and desalting with fresh desalted water for 1 to 80hr in a second step. The desalted water is obtained with a desalted water producing apparatus comprising an anode plate to apply a positive electrode and a cathode plate which is alternatively disposed with the anode plate to apply more or less of a negative electrode than the anode plate.
