Abstract: The present invention relates to a fuel heating apparatus for improving the cold start of an alternative fuel vehicle. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a new fuel heating apparatus for improving the cold start of an alternative fuel vehicle, wherein the new fuel heating apparatus is to solve the various problems of an existing auxiliary tank system and heating system which are applied to an FFV (flex fuel vehicle) using alternative fuel such as ethanol. To accomplish the purpose, provided is the fuel heating apparatus for improving the cold start of an alternative fuel vehicle, wherein the fuel heating apparatus comprises: a heater having an inlet and an outlet so that fuel can flow into, pass through, and flow from the heater, and having a heating body installed therein and heating the fuel; a solenoid valve having a first outlet connected to the inlet of the heater, and opening and closing a flow path to the first outlet in order to selectively supply the fuel, which is supplied from a fuel tank to the inlet, to the heater; a temperature sensor installed at the heater, and sensing fuel temperature inside the heater; and a control part controlling the on and off operation of the heater and the opening and closing operation of the solenoid valve depending on the fuel temperature sensed by the temperature sensor, wherein the outlet of the heater is connected to a cold start injector through a cold start line, and the solenoid has an inlet connected to a fuel line connected from the fuel tank.

Abstract: Disclosed are a return fuel cooling system for an LPI vehicle and a control method thereof. The purpose of a return fuel cooling system for an LPI vehicle according to an embodiment of the present invention is to cool LPG fuel of high temperatures returned to a bomb from an engine. The engine and the bomb are mutually connected via a fuel supply line and a fuel return line of an LPI vehicle using LPG fuel. The return fuel cooling system for an LPI vehicle includes a heat exchanger which is formed on the fuel return line and which cools the LPG fuel by heat-exchanging the LPG fuel and a refrigerant supplied from and circulated in an air conditioner member where the refrigerant circulates; a bypass circuit which connects the fuel return line while the heat exchanger is interposed and bypasses the LPG fuel returned from the bomb without passing through the heat exchanger; a valve which is formed on the fuel return line on the engine side and connected to the bypass circuit and which sends the LPG fuel to the heat exchanger or bypasses the LPG fuel to the bypass circuit by selectively opening/closing the fuel return line connected to the heat exchanger according to the temperature of the bomb and the operation of the air conditioner member.
