    Abstract: PURPOSE: To increase an oil returning amount within an accumulator and to enable a poor lubricating action at a sliding part of a compressor to be reduced. CONSTITUTION: This accumulator is comprised of a container 5 storing refrigerant; a partition plate 6 for dividing the container 5 into two chambers, i.e., A chamber 7 and B chamber 8; an inlet pipe connected to an upper part of the A chamber 7 of the container 5; a first outlet pipe 9 connected to a lower part of the A chamber 7 of the container 5; a second outlet pipe 10 inserted into the lower part of the B chamber 8 of the container 5 and having its one end connected to a side part of the first outlet pipe 9; and a separated pipe 11 having one outer diameter smaller than an inner diameter of the inlet pipe, having one end inserted into the inlet pipe and the other end being connected to the partition plate 6 at a position higher than that of an end surface of the second outlet pipe 10.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To prevent an abnormal drop in suction pressure by a method wherein a header consists of a vessel to store liquid refrigerant, a refrigerant inlet pipe connected to the upper part of the vessel and a refrigerant outlet pipe inserted from below and a part of the outlet pipe is made up of a permeable membrane whose pours have diameters within a specified range. CONSTITUTION: A header 5 has such a construction that a refrigerant inlet pipe 10 is connected to the upper part of a vessel 11 and a refrigerant outlet pipe 9 is inserted into the vessel 11 from below. A hole is provided in a part of the refrigerant outlet pipe 9 and covered with a polytetrafluoroethylene-made permeable membrane 13 which has pours with diameters of 0.01-3μm and is supported by a porous resin 12. An evaporator is connected to the upper part of the inlet pipe 10 and a compressor is connected to the lower part of the outlet pipe 9 via a suction pipe 6. Thereby, an abnormal drop in suction pressure can be prevented and the specified refrigerating performance can be maintained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent resonance sound, generated in an oil feeding space, from being transmitted into a closed space by submerging the lower coil of a stator in an electric motor in oil stored at the inner bottom part of a closed container, over the whole periphery of a space including a crankshaft. CONSTITUTION:A compressing part 2 and an electric motor 3 are enclosed inside a closed container 1. An oil passage 11 is extended obliquely upward from the lower end center 11a of a crankshaft 5 in the compressing part 2, and a vent hole 12 with one end opened to the surface 12a of the crankshaft 5 is disposed in the state of being communicated with the oil passage 11. The lower coil 15 of a stator 10 in the electric motor 3 is submerged in oil 13 stored at the inner bottom part of the closed container 1, over the whole periphery of a space including the crankshaft 5. That is, the lower coil 15 and a space surrounded by the oil 13 are closed in relation to the internal space of the closed container 1. The resonance sound generated in an oil feeding space 14 is thereby prevented from being transmitted into the closed space 1.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To reduce vibration in mechanical and motor parts so as to prevent generation of noise by balancing inertia force and centrifugal force by a piston, connecting rod, etc., with centrifugal force of balance weights in upper and lower parts in dynamic balance. CONSTITUTION:Each coefficient value of coefficients C1 to C3 in formulas I to III is designed so as to obtain 3 or less. In the formula, the alphabet X represents a distance between planes I and II, and the alphabet Y represents a distance between planes II and III. Further, the formula represents resultant force by inertia force of a piston 10, inertia force and centrifugal force of a connecting rod 12 and centrifugal force of a crank eccentric part 11a by Fa, centrifugal force of an upper part balance weight 18 by Fb and centrifugal force of a lower part balance weight 19 by Fc. The plane I represents a plane vertical to a crankshaft 11 passing through a center axis of the piston 10, and planes II, III represent planes vertical to the crankshaft 11 passing through the center of gravity of the upper/lower part balance weights 18, 19 of a rotor. In this way, generation of noise according to vibration in mechanical and motor parts can be suppressed.

On the outside of the partitioning plates 33, 33a, partitioning outer walls 35, 35a are provided to form heat insulating layers 36, 36a, and a heat insulating material by foamed body and the like is charged between them. Hence, the heating of a coolant gas passing the inlet passage 32 by the influence of the heat transmitted from an inlet muffler 25 outer wall can be reduced. Thus, a sufficient heat insulating effect of the coolant gas can be attained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To decrease micro-vibration of a valve device during the opening or closing of it by forming a delivery valve with its length from a base portion to an end unequal on the right and left sides of an axis, and making different the frequency modes of the delivery valve on the right and left sides so as to eliminate frequency modes which are hard to be damped as a whole. CONSTITUTION:When a piston 1 reciprocates inside a cylinder 3 compressed gas is allowed to pass through the delivery hole 5 of a valve plate 4 to push up the delivery valve 14 of a delivery valve reed 9. As a result, the delivery valve 14 is opened while being regulated by a delivery valve stopper 15, and the gas is delivered to the delivery chamber 16 of a cylinder head 7. In this case, the delivery valve 14 has its longitudinal side 20 opened first with a base portion 19 as a point of support and then the opposite side 21 is raised. The length of the delivery valve 14 from the base portion 19 to an end is set in such a manner that lengths are unequal on the right and left sides of an axis 18. The frequency mode of the delivery valve 14 on the longitudinal side 20 is therefore made different from that on the opposite side 21 so as to properly decrease predetermined characteristic frequency modes which are hard to be damped.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain sufficient cooling effect of a motor coiled-wire by attaching an oil reservoir case, which covers a lower motor coiled-wire and has an oil drain hole at the lower part thereof, to a motor and accumulating refrigerator oil in the case. CONSTITUTION:An oil reservoir case 12 is attached to a compressing element 3 as that the case covers a lower motor coiled-wire 6. During operation, refrigerator oil is sucked up by an oil suction pump 10, drained from the upper part 11 of a crankcase, and flows into the case from a gutter part 14 of the oil reservoir case 12. Since the entire body of the lower motor coiled wire 6 is therefore kept immersed in refrigerator oil of relatively low temperature, the coiled-wire 6 can be cooled sufficiently by the heat-exchanging operation with refrigerator oil having high heat capacity.
