PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling the road segment for on-line electric vehicles are provided to improve the electricity supply efficiency and reduce electromagnetic wave generated from a power supplying unit. CONSTITUTION: A road segment controlling unit(800) includes a segment switch(804), a segment electricity supplying part(808), and a segment controlling part(812). The segment electricity supplying part is buried along the running road of electric vehicles and supplies electricity to the electric vehicles. The segment switch is arranged along the road. The segment controlling part detects the position of the electric vehicles and activates the segment electricity supplying part using the segment switch before the electric vehicles reach to the segment electricity supplying part.

PURPOSE: A road information unified management system is provided to enable data communication between a road administer and a vehicle driver, thereby preventing inconsistency in management information. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle master(220) is mounted on a vehicle and creates vehicle information. A transceiver unit is mounted on the vehicle to transmit and receive information. Road information sensors(110) are given respective IDs and buried in the road, obtains road information and transmits the information to the vehicle, and transmits unified information including the vehicle information and the road information to an upper server(300).

PURPOSE: A system for recognizing the position of an online electric vehicle is provided to accurately grasp the position of the vehicle by recognizing the variation of a magnetic field pattern on a power supplied road. CONSTITUTION: A segment(110) includes a feeder. A sensor unit(210) senses a magnetic field pattern by inducing a magnetic field from the feeder to be changed to a voltage. A determining unit(230) determines the position of an online electric vehicle in the segment by comparing the magnetic field pattern with the magnetic field pattern stored in a database.

PURPOSE: A system and a method for controlling group driving are provided to improve reliability of information while preventing information distortion by allowing efficient group driving in an environment in which communications between road infrastructures is possible. CONSTITUTION: A group driving control system communicates with running vehicles. The group driving control system controls the group driving of the vehicles. A communications part(201) installed in the road provides location information of road to the vehicles. A roadside communications unit(202) transmits and receives the information for the vehicles passing by the road and for implementing group driving. The roadside communications unit controls the group driving. The information for the group driving comprises group request information, an ID allocated to the group request information, and group assignment information.

A method and a device for network restoration for guaranteeing user centered service availability are disclosed. A device for restoring a network based on ant colony optimization (ACO) may include: an availability value extraction unit for extracting a service demand availability value which is demanded by a user in a data packet; a service availability colony selection unit for selecting service availability colonies having a destination which corresponds to an estimated node of arrival of the data packet, calculating a relationship scale which shows a degree of relationship among the service availability colonies based on the extracted service demand availability, and selecting a service availability colony with the maximum value; and a path configuration unit for configuring a transmission path of the data packet based on a pheromone value stored in a pheromone table of the selected service availability colony.
