Abstract: PURPOSE: A side airbag seat for vehicles is provided to effectively prevent a seat cover and a seat pad from stretching since a guide tape is attached along the length of a seat. CONSTITUTION: A side airbag seat for vehicles comprises a front seat cover(110), a side seat cover(120), an airbag module(130) and a guide tape(240). A seat pad(210), in which the airbag module is installed, is surrounded by the front seat cover and the side seat cover. An air bag cushion is deployed through the connecting part(101) between the side seat cover and the front seat cover. The guide tape is formed on the side seat cover toward the connecting part along the length of a vehicle. The guide tape guides the deploying direction of the airbag cushion.

CONSTITUTION: An air bag device for a vehicle comprises a fixing unit(200) and a receiving unit(300). The fixing unit comprises a combining hole(220) and is fixed in a vehicle side-panel through the combining hole by a combining member. The receiving unit is formed in front of the fixing unit. The receiving unit consists of first and second horizontal parts(320,360) and a vertical part(340). The first and second horizontal parts cover an air bar and are protruded onto the front of the fixing unit. The vertical part connects the first and second horizontal parts. In order that the vertical part is broken in the deploying direction of the air bar, the breaking hole of the receiving unit is formed on the connecting part of the first horizontal part and the vertical part.

CONSTITUTION: A curtain airbag device of a vehicle comprises a broadside collision sensor(10), an ECU(Electronic Control Unit,20), an inflator(30), and an air bag cushion. The ECU receives a sensing signal from the broadside collision sensor. The inflator receives a signal from the ECU and supplies gas. The air bag cushion is installed in a side rail(42) of a roof side panel(40) of a vehicle and comprises an impact protection section(52) and an extended section(54). In the impact protection section, a plurality of chambers(52a) are consecutively formed to inflate with the gas supplied from the inflator. The extended section is consecutively formed from the leading end of the impact protection section to the front of the vehicle. The gas is supplied to the extended section with a certain time difference from the chambers of the impact protection section.
