Abstract:
A method for manufacturing a semiconductor device is provided to suppress generation of bridge between adjacent contacts by extending the upper part of the contact electrically connected to a capacitor and a source/drain of a transistor. A recess is formed by etching a part of an upper surface of an insulating film included in a substrate(100). A hole which passes through the insulating layer is formed to be overlapped with one end of the recess. A conductive pattern reclaiming the recess and the hole is formed. After the recess is formed, the nitride film is formed along the surface profile of the insulating layer in which the recess is formed. The capacitor(154) is formed on the conductive pattern.

An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device is provided to form an optical sensor between two display areas divided on an LCD panel to improve the direction of external light received to the optical sensor, thereby preventing the malfunction of the optical sensor. An LCD device comprises an LCD panel(10), a panel driving unit(100), an optical sensor(20), and a light source unit. The LCD panel is divided into first and second display areas(13,14). The panel driving unit drives the LCD panel. The optical sensor is formed between the first and second display areas to receive external light. The intensity of light is automatically controlled according to the intensity of radiation received to the optical sensor in the light source unit.

A multi-layer flexible printed circuit board and a liquid crystal display device with the same are provided to reduce inferiority of the liquid crystal display device by reducing a gap between layers. In a multi-layer flexible printed circuit board, at least one layer(500a-500d) includes a base film(50a-50d), a copper foil(60a-60d) for forming a circuit pattern, and a cover lay(70a-70d) for protecting the circuit pattern of the copper foil(60a-60d). A bonding sheet(80) connects the layers(500a-500d). The cover layers(70a-70d) of the layers(500a-500d) face each other about the bonding sheet(80).

PURPOSE: A semiconductor device with a buried gate pattern including a high-k dielectric protection film pattern and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to form a low dielectric material film on a high dielectric material film to decrease electric fields in source/drain areas, thereby preventing leaked currents. CONSTITUTION: A gate trench is formed on a substrate(10). A buried gate electrode(16) partially fills the gate trench. A protection film pattern(20a) is formed in the gate trench. Source/drain areas(22,24) are formed under the surface of the substrate adjacent to both sides of the buried gate electrode. A gate insulating film(18a) is interposed between the trench and the buried gate electrode.

A dual LCD is provided to connect first and second LCD panels by using one FPCB, thereby reducing a fabric usage amount of the FPCB and accordingly reducing a manufacturing cost. A mold frame(700) is formed between first and second LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) panels(750,751), and has a backlight unit. An FPCB(Flexible Printed Circuit Board)(790) is respectively and electrically connected with the first and second LCD panels, and has a first solder pad(791). An interface FPCB(800) is formed between the first and second LCD panels, and has an opening part and a second solder pad. The first solder pad of the FPCB and the second solder pad of the interface FPCB are electrically connected by being soldered.

An LCD device and a driving method thereof are provided to suppress a flicker phenomenon due to different kickback voltages by applying different sustain voltages to respective display regions. An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) device includes a liquid crystal panel(135), and gate and date drivers(400,500). The liquid crystal panel, which includes plural gate lines(Ga1~Gah,Gb1~Gbk), plural data lines(D1~Dm) crossing with the gate lines, and thin film transistors connected to the gate and data lines, is divided into plural display regions along the gate line. The gate driver supplies a gate voltage for turning on/off the thin film transistors to the gate lines. The data driver supplies a data voltage for representing an image signal to the data lines, especially data voltages with different polarities, to adjacent display regions.
