Abstract: A stereo image matching error removal apparatus and a removal method using the same are provided to generate a window in a stereoscopic image and determine whether a corresponding center pixel is outputted according to a difference of gray levels which are pixel values between a center pixel and an adjacent pixel of the window without changing the center pixel. An image processing unit(10) generates a window from a stereoscopic image including matching error. A difference value calculation unit(20) calculates a difference value between a pixel value of a center pixel and a pixel value of an adjacent pixel in the window. A comparison unit(30) compares a comparison reference value with the difference value. The comparison unit divides an adjacent pixel into the first adjacent pixel and the second adjacent pixel based on the comparison result. A summation unit(40) counts the number of the first adjacent pixels in the window.

Abstract: PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for detecting hands of a subject in real time are provided to organically use distance information and skin information, thereby providing strong hand detecting performance. CONSTITUTION: The first and second video input units(10,20) generate the first and second images which photograph the first and second sides of a subject. A stereo processing unit(130) generates a distance image showing 3D distance information by comparing the first and second images. A skin area detecting unit(120) determines pixels of the first and second images to output a skin image. A skin/distance pixel mixing unit(140) outputs a mixed image in which the distance image is mixed with the skin image. A background and noise cancellation unit(150) cancels a background and noise from the mixed image to output an effective image including hand candidate areas.

Abstract: 본 발명은 스테레오 영상 매칭오류 제거장치 및 이를 이용한 제거방법에 관한 것으로, 보다 자세하게는 스테레오 영상 내에 포함된 픽셀 중 어느 하나를 중심픽셀로 하고, 상기 중심픽셀 및 상기 중심픽셀과 인접한 다수의 주변픽셀이 포함된 윈도우를 생성하는 영상처리부와; 상기 윈도우에서 색에 따른 상기 중심픽셀의 픽셀값과 상기 주변픽셀의 픽셀값의 차이값을 연산하는 차이값연산부와; 상기 주변픽셀을 상기 차이값이 상기 비교기준값 이하인 제1 주변픽셀과 상기 차이값이 상기 비교기준값을 초과하는 제2 주변픽셀로 구분하는 비교부와; 상기 제1 주변픽셀 및 상기 제2 주변픽셀 중 어느 하나의 수를 합산하는 합산부와; 기 설정된 기준픽셀수와 합산된 상기 제1 주변픽셀 및 상기 제2 주변픽셀 중 어느 하나의 수를 비교하고, 비교 결과에 따라 상기 중심픽셀의 가변여부를 결정하는 출력결정부를 포함한다. 이에 따라, 본 발명은 스테레오 영상 내에 윈도우를 생성하고, 윈도우의 중심픽셀과 주변픽셀 간 색에 따른 픽셀값의 차이에 따라 해당 중심픽셀을 변함없이 출력할지 여부를 결정하여 스테레오 영상의 매칭오류를 제거할 수 있는 스테레오 영상 매칭오류 제거장치 및 이를 이용한 제거방법을 제공한다.
