    Abstract: Supported catalyst obtainable by A) reacting an inorganic carrier material with a metal compound of the general formula (I): M (R )r(R )s(R )t(R )u in which M is an alkalyne or alkalyne earth metal or a metal of main group III or IV of the periodic system; R is hydrogen, C -C10 alkyl, C6-C15 aryl, alkyl aryl or aryl alkyl with 1 to 10 C atoms in the alkyl radical and 6 to 20 C atoms in the aryl radical; R to R are hydrogen, C -C10 alkyl, C6-C15 aryl, alkyl aryl or aryl alkyl, alkoxy or dialkylamino with 1 to 10 C atoms in the alkyl radical and 6 to 20 C atoms in the aryl radical; r is a whole number from 1 to 4; and s, t and u are whole numbers from 0 to 3, where the sum r+s+t+u corresponds to the valency of M ; B) reacting the material obtained from A) with a metallocene complex in its metal dihalogenide form and a metallocenium ion-forming compound; and C) subsequent reaction with a metal compound of the general formula (II): M (R )o(R )p(R )q in which M is an alkalyne or alkalyne earth metal or a metal of main group III of the periodic system; R is hydrogen, C -C10 alkyl, C6-C15 aryl, alkyl aryl or aryl alkyl with 1 to 10 C atoms in the alkyl radical and 6 to 20 C atoms in the aryl radical; R to R are hydrogen, C -C10 alkyl, C6-C15 aryl, alkyl aryl, aryl alkyl or alkoxy with 1 to 10 C atoms in the alkyl radical and 6 to 20 C atoms in the aryl radical; o is a whole number from 1 to 3; and p and q are whole numbers from 0 to 2 where the sum o+p+q corresponds to the valency of M .

    Abstract: A process for the preparation of homopolymers of ethylene or copolymers of ethylene with secondary amounts of other C3- to C12-alk-1-enes by catalytic polymerisation in a suspension or in the gas phase in the presence of an antistatic at a temperature of from 50 to 120 DEG C and at a pressure of from 5 to 50 bar, characterised in that the antistatic employed is a mixture of the following substances: a) a metal salt of medialanic acid of formula (I) , b) a metal salt of an anthranilic acid of formula (II) , where the organic radical R is either alpha ) -CO-(CH2)x-CH3 (III alpha ) or ss) -CO-(CH2)y-CH=CH-(CH2)z-CH3 (IIIss), where x, y and z are each an integer, and x is in the range from 6 to 18, y is in the range from 1 to 16, z is in the range from 1 to 16 and y + z is in the range from 4 to 17, and c) a polyamine obtainable by reacting epichlorohydrin with an aliphatic primary monoamine or an N-alkylalkylenediamine of the formula (IV> R NH-R -NH2 (IV), where R is a C8-C24-alkyl radical and R is a C2-C6-alkylene radical. d
