The invention relates to a method for producing a tertiary C>4 8 and R , which can be identical or different, represent methyl or ethyl and R represents H, methyl or ethyl, in a homogeneous phase in the presence of an acidic catalyst and extracting the tertiary C4-C8 alkyl(meth)acrylate from the reaction mixture. According to the invention, the catalyst is separated as a residue in a two-stage distillation of the reaction mixture and the tertiary C4-C8 alkyl(meth)acrylate is extracted from the distillation. The inventive method permits the use of (meth)acryl acid that contains acetic acid. The risk of a breakdown of the ester and the polymerization of the (meth)acryl compounds is reduced. The invention also relates to a falling film evaporator comprising a cylindrical casing (2), a plurality of evaporation tubes (3) located in said casing (2), means (4) for supplying the liquid to be evaporated and means (5) for heating the evaporation tubes (3). Said evaporator is characterised in that at least one evaporation tube (3) has a closed head region (6), into which a supply line (7) for the liquid to be evaporated opens, said supply line (7) communicating with the means (4) for supplying the liquid to be evaporated.

La invencion se relaciona con el uso de cuando menos una proteina, especialmente cuando menos una hidrofobina o cuando menos un derivado de la misma, pera mejorar la separacion de fase en composiciones que contienen cuando menos dos fases liquidas. La invencion tambien se relaciona con un metodo para separar cuando menos dos fases liquidas en una composicion que contiene cuando menos dos fases liquidas, y formulaciones que contienen cuando menos un compuesto seleccionado del grupo que consiste en combustibles liquidos, combustibles, petroleo crudo o soluciones de polimero solubles en agua o solubles en aceite, y cuando menos una proteina, especialmente cuando menos una hidrofobina o derivados de la misma.

The invention relates to a method for producing a tertiary C4-C8 alkyl (meth)acrylate by reacting (meth)acryl acid with an olefin of formula (I), wherein R and R , which can be identical or different, represent methyl or ethyl and R represents H, methyl or ethyl, in a homogeneous phase in the presence of an acidic catalyst and extracting the tertiary C4-C8 alkyl(meth)acrylate from the reaction mixture. According to the invention, the catalyst is separated as a residue in a two-stage distillation of the reaction mixture and the tertiary C4-C8 alkyl(meth)acrylate is extracted from the distillation. The inventive method permits the use of (meth)acryl acid that contains acetic acid. The risk of a breakdown of the ester and the polymerization of the (meth)acryl compounds is reduced.

Hot melt adhesives contg. (A) 50-80 parts mixt. of 80-98 parts of polyisobutylene (I) with mol. wt. (Stavdinger) of 10000-20000 and 20-2 parts polyisobutylene (II) of mol.wt. 100000-180000. (B) 10-35 parts thermoplastic rubbery block copolymer of styrene and a 1,3-diene, with Mn 80000-250000, and (C) 10 to 35 parts tackifying resin with softening pt. 60-120 degrees C. Also equipment for continuous prodn. and processing of such adhesives. Adhesive is used for coating of labels, insulating foils for building, corrosion-protective bandages, etc. The adhesives have good dimensional stability, and no uncontrolled breakdown of the rubber additive occurs during processing. They show esp. high cohesion, are suitable for continuous prodn., and avoid the pollution, explosion and other hazards of solvents-based adhesives.
