Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject polymer capable of exhibiting the excellent ratio of modulus of elasticity/impact strength and high transparency, useful for a film, a fiber, etc., by mixing a specific isotactic propene copolymer with a prescribed propene (co)polymer in a specified ratio. SOLUTION: This propene polymer comprises (A) 50-99.9 wt.% of an isotactic propene copolymer and (B) 0.1-50 wt.% of a propene (co)polymer in which the component A is composed of propene, ethene and a 1-42C olefin (M), >=80 wt.% of the whole propene 2 unit chains is isotactic meso 2 unit chains (L), relations of equation I [X3 is the ratio of a dissolved substance in xylene at 20 deg.C; Tm is a melting point ( deg.C)] and equation II (E is a modulus of elasticity) are satisfied, the component B is composed of propene and arbitrarily ethene or the monomer M, >=55 wt.% of the whole regio-regular propene 2 unit chains is the chains L, a melt enthalpy measured by DSC is

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a propylene homopolymer having a very low content of xylene-soluble component, low content of chlorine and high content of long and complete isotactic polymer component. SOLUTION: This propylene homopolymer is to satisfy at least one of the following conditions when the propylene homopolymer subjected to stereoregularity is separated by dissolving the propylene homopolymer into a boiling xylene, cooling the resultant solution to 25 deg.C at a cooling rate of 10 deg.C/h, followed by separating the polymer into different fractions in stereoregularity while raising the temperature, i) an insoluble fraction of the propylene homopolymer is >20 wt.% when the cooled propylene homopolymer is heated to 112 deg.C, ii) an insoluble fraction of the propylene homopolymer is >8 wt.% when the cooled propylene homopolymer is heated to 117 deg.C, and iii) an insoluble fraction of the propylene homopolymer is >1 wt.% when the cooled propylene homopolymer is heated to 122 deg.C.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an improved propylene polymer which has good impact strength, flowability, and processability, a high stiffness, and a very low white fracture disposition. SOLUTION: This propylene polymer contains 50-95 pts.wt. propylene homopolymer having a melt flow index (measured according to ISO specification 1133 at 230 deg.C under a load of 2.16kg) of 0.1-100g/10min and an isotactic index of at least 98%, 5-50 pts.wt. ethylene copolymer (B) contg. 4-40wt.% polymerized 4-20C 1-alkene and having a density of 0.865-0.920g/cm , and 0-1.5 pts.wt. nucleating agent (C), the sum of ingredients A and B being 100 pts.wt.

Abstract: A thermoplastic molding material contains, in each case based on the sum of the constituents A, B and C, A: 10 to about 90% by weight of a styrene polymer A, B: 10 to about 90% by weight of a polyolefin B, and C: 1 to 20% by weight of an unsymmetrical linear three-block copolymer C of the structure S1-D-S2, prepared by anionic polymerization from styrene and butadiene and/or isoprene, S1 and S2 each denoting a polystyrene block and D denoting a polydiene block, wherein the three-block copolymer C has a styrene content, based on C, of from 50 to 85% by weight and the terminal blocks S1 and S2 built up from styrene differ by at least 50% in their molecular weight.
