Abstract: La invención se refiere a un método para producir ácido cianhídrico por deshidratación catalítica de formamida gaseosa en un reactor tubular que comprende por lo menos un canal de reacción en donde ocurre la deshidratación catalítica, en donde el canal de reacción comprende una superficie interna hecha de un material que tiene una porción de hierro de = 50% en peso, y ningún catalizador y/o componentes incorporados están presentes en el canal de reacción, y el por lo menos un canal de reacción tiene un diámetro hidráulico medio de 0.5 a 6 mm. La invención además se refiere a un reactor que tiene las características mencionadas antes y el uso del reactor de conformidad con la invención para producir ácido cianhídrico por deshidratación catalítica de formamida gaseosa.

Abstract: The method comprises treating a surface of plant that comes in contact with the hydrocyanic acid, with an oxidation agent at 200-800[deg] C, and subsequently subjecting the plant with the hydrocyanic acid. The surface of the plant is stainless steel containing surface. The oxidation agent is oxidizing fluid, oxidizing paste and oxidizing gas. The treatment of the surface is carried out through immersing, spraying, flooding the plant, coating and conducting gases. Before the treatment of the surface with the oxidation agent, a mechanical processing of the surface is carried out. The method comprises treating a surface of plant that comes in contact with the hydrocyanic acid, with an oxidation agent at 200-800[deg] C, and subsequently subjecting the plant with the hydrocyanic acid. The surface of the plant is stainless steel containing surface. The oxidation agent is oxidizing fluid, oxidizing paste and oxidizing gas. The treatment of the surface is carried out through immersing, spraying, flooding the plant, coating and conducting gases. Before the treatment of the surface with the oxidation agent, a mechanical processing of the surface is carried out through high pressure cleaning, palpitating, beating, grinding, radiating, brushing and/or polishing and the surface is treated by rinsing with an aqueous caustic soda. During subjecting the plant with the hydrocyanic acid, a slight quantity of diluted acid and/or acid gas is dosed in the plant. The method is carried out for dewatering of hydrocyanic acid by distillation.
