Abstract: Procedimiento para estabilizar monómeros polimerizables por radicales, que incluye las etapas a) introducción de una solución de un inhibidor de la polimerización por radicales con un gas inerte a presión en un recipiente (1), que contiene los monómeros, a través de al menos una tubería (10) que incluye un tramo ascendente y que presenta en su extremo medios para introducir la solución de inhibidor y para insuflar gas en el recipiente y b) mezcla del contenido del recipiente y de la solución de inhibidor insuflando gas a través de la tubería (10), ajustándose en la etapa (a) la velocidad del flujo del gas a presión de tal manera que como régimen de flujo de la solución de inhibidor resultan un flujo de tapón o un flujo anular en el tramo ascendente de la tubería (10) y en la etapa (b) se ajusta la velocidad del gas en el recipiente a >= 0,1 mm/seg.
