    Abstract: The vibration filter comprises an inner ring (27) on which vibration-sensitive equipment may be installed, the ring (27) being suspended from a plurality of springs (24, 25, 26) elastically supported by posts (18, 19, 20) in turn mounted on an outer ring (1) which is spring-suspended the same as the inner ring (27) from a rigid bench (8). The springs (12, 13, 14; 24, 25, 26) and other elastic members (9, 10, 11; 15, 16, 17; 21, 22, 23; 28, 29, 30) have differing resonant frequencies. Between the bench (8) and the outer ring (1), and between the outer and inner rings (1, 27) there may be provided eddy current brakes consisting of strong permanent magnets (46, 48) arranged opposite individual copper or aluminum blocks (5, 47).

Both cantilevers are arranged such that they can be exposed in a reference step to the reference liquid and in a detection step to the reference liquid with the target substance. A detector unit (73, 74, 83) is employed for determining the difference in the deflection of the measurement cantilever (71) and the reference cantilever (72) during the reference step and the detection step.

    Abstract: The dilution refrigerator operates by sucking a 4He-rich mixture from a tank and returning it to the tank through a superleak. Thereby the 3He is separated and returned to the 3He-rich content of the tank. By this cycling process, a drop in temperature is obtained at the exit of the superleak and through re-mixing of the 3He with the 4He. Cycling of the liquid 3He-4He mixture is performed by a bellows pump maintained in a container 16 at a temperature below 2 DEG K. and by specially designed valves comprising a steel ball as a plug and a gold ring as the valve seat.
