Abstract: A guaternary ammonium compound having a muscle relaxation activity represented by the formula (I): wherein R1 represents a methylene, a lower alkylenoxy, a lower alkenylene, a lower alkynylene, -CO-, -COO-, a lower alkylene carbonyloxy, -CH(OR5)-, a lower alkylenecarbonyl, a hydroxy lower alkylene, -O-, -S-, -SO-, or -SO2-; R2 represents a hydrogen atom, a hydroxy lower alkyl, an aldehyde, a lower alkyl carbonyl, -NO2 , or -NHR6; R3 represents a hydrogen atom of a group -R1,(CH2)a-¢CH(CH2A)-CH2!b-A; R4 represents an anion; R5 and R6 represent a hydrogen atom or a acetyl; A represents a quaternary ammonium group; a represents an integer of 1 to 8; b represents 0 or 1; m represents an integer of 1 to 4; and (Z) represents a trivalent benzene ring, a trivalent naphthalene ring, a trivalent diphenyl or a trivalent ethane radical.

SOLUTION: This converting device is provided with less than 20 keys for transmitting vowels (A, I, U, E, O), the basic articulation of KA-line, SA-line, TA-line, NA-line, HA-line, MA-line, YA-line, RA-line, WA-line, BA-line, DA-line, GA-line, PA-line, and ZA-lione, and the composite basic articulation of KYA-line, GYA-line, BYA-line, PYA-line, NYA-line, HYA-line, MYA-line, RYA-line, JYA- line, CHA-line, and SYA-line by the inputting operation of alphanumeric character keys from one time to three times. Moreover, this device is provided with a voice converting means for transmitting a long vowel and a consonant by the key operation.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm a copied result in advance which was unable to predicted by a conventional copying machine through an external monitor by utilizing a CCD. SOLUTION: An original is irradiated with light and the image thereof is transmitted to the CCD through a lens. The image of an electric signal converted by the CCD is received by the monitor installed outside the copying machine. Thus, the position of the original can be adjusted and magnification can be changed. Besides, a copying paper and toner are prevented from being wastefully consumed.
