    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a high common mode and the high suppression rate of a power source by keeping the collectors transistors at reference voltages, reflecting a current supplied from a prescribed circuit to a resistor leading an inter-emitter input signal at a resistor, and providing output signals from both terminals of this resistor. CONSTITUTION: The respective collectors of bipolar transistors (Q) 1 and 2 biased lower than 1μA by constant current sources IP3 and 4 are kept at respective fixed reference voltages VR1 and 2. Besides, an input signal Vin impressed between emitters 1N- and 1N+ of Q1 and Q2 is led to a resistor R1 and a current mirror circuit is composed of Q5, Q6, Q7, MOS transistors M7, M10 and M9, and resistors R3-R6. Therefore, a current IR1 to be supplied from this circuit to the resistor R1 is reflected to a resistor R6 and an output signal Vout is provided at both terminals. Thus, the input common mode, power source suppression ratio and input impedance are improved and the I/F circuit of optimum control unit for a vehicle can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide an H-shaped bridge circuit without drawblaks of prior technology by preventing it so that two electronic power switches connecting to a same output terminal are simultaneously conductive by a reliable method. CONSTITUTION: This bridge circuit is provided with 1st and 2nd electronic power switch pairs Q1, Q4 and Q2, Q3 that are connected between two output terminals OUT1, OUT2 for connection to terminals of a load L and two poles of DC power supplies Vs, so as to form an H-shaped structure including the load L, and with drive circuits C1, C2 that make the 1st electronic power switch (consisting of TRs Q1, Q4) or the 2nd electronic power switch (consisting of TRs Q2, Q3) selectively conductive, in order to supply a current in one direction or the reverse direction through the load L, and prevent it that the 1st and 2nd electronic power switch pairs Q1, Q4 and Q2, Q3 connected between the output terminals OUT1, OUT2, and the two poles of the power supplies Vs are simultaneously conductive.

The input signal (VIN) applied between the emitters (IN(-), IN(+)) of the transistors (Q1, Q2) is transferred to the terminals of a first resistor (R1) which is supplied with current (IR1) from a circuit (M7, A5, R3; M10, Q6, R4; M9, Q7, R5) which mirrors the current (IR1) into a second resistor (R6), from the terminals of which the output signal (VOUT) is taken. The preferred application is for forming interfaces for lambda probes fitted to catalytic converters for motor vehicles.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a loop-type voltage regulating device for regulating the voltage, especially of an automatic electrical system. SOLUTION: This device is of such a type, that it includes at least one heat engine (15), a voltage regulator (13), and a synchronous generator (11) capable of operating to provide the regulated voltage signal (A+) of the system and to receive a regulation signal (DF) from the voltage regulator (13), for a loop- type voltage regulating device for regulation of the voltage, especially of an automatic electrical system. This voltage regulating device advantageously includes further a control unit (14) within a regulation loop, and the unit is connected between the heat engine (15) and the voltage regulator (13), and also it is applied to supply the latter (the voltage regulator) with a signal related to engine operation.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To totally remove a reverse-direction current and to minimize the bias current of a protection circuit by using an additional MOS transistor to switch off a second DMOS protection transistor during the period under 'below ground' condition. SOLUTION: A 'below ground' voltage condition, for example, of the integrated substrate of a device forming a diagnostic interface is detected by a comparator, which switches off a current generator I through a logic AND gate. At the same time, a current generator I2 which keeps an MOS transistor M at a high impedance state during the normal operation of a control unit is also switched off while a current generator I1 is switched on through an impedance to immediately decide switching-on of the MOS transistor M. Thus, a reverse- direction current flowing through a diagnostic output line VOUT is totally removed, while a bias current level is minimized.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a method for easily adjusting saturation, unrelated to the layout of a power transistor, unlike the known anti-saturation system, in which an actually generated substrate current is traced by the operation of the transistor in the saturation region, in place of tracing the generation of direct bias of collector/base junction for the power transistor as an index of saturation condition of the transistor. CONSTITUTION: A sensing resistor RS is connected in the path to limit a current IS, which is injected to a substrate from a saturation transistor T1 . A first signal, indicating saturation condition of the transistor, is detected and this signal is compared with a reference voltage VS. When the signal becomes higher than the threshold, a base current IB is reduced.
