Abstract: The present invention provides a laminated film (31) where a coating layer (22) containing organic particles (12) is provided on the surface of a base film (21) and the ratio (SRz/d) of the surface roughness (SRz) of the coating layer (22) surface and the coating thickness (d) is 12.5 or higher, wherein the organic particles (12) are made from a thermoplastic resin containing ether bonds, and the coating layer (22) is made from a binder resin (11) containing at least one type of a sulfonic acid group, carboxylic acid group, or hydroxyl group, or a salt thereof, and also provides a method for manufacturing the same. The present invention can provide at low cost a laminated film (31) that does not shed organic particles (12) and that has a coating layer (22) containing beads or particles having a large uneven surface. Abstract: A film excellent in heat resistance, dimensional stability to heat, and mechanical properties, especially a film capable of satisfying requirements such as higher strength necessary for base-film thickness reduction, improved dimensional stability to heat and improved mechanical properties in use atmospheres, and enhanced heat resistance and improved dimensional stability to heat which meet the needs of the electrical and electronic fields for size reduction and multi-function. It is obtained by incorporating transition metal oxide particles into a thermoplastic resin and forming the composition into a film which is a biaxially oriented thermoplastic film having a melting point higher than that of the thermoplastic resin used. Preferably, when the biaxially oriented thermoplastic resin film is analyzed with a differential scanning calorimeter (DSC), the difference between the peak temperature for the quantity of heat of fusion in the 1st run (melting point T1) and the peak temperature for the quantity of heat of fusion in the 2nd run (melting point T2) satisfies the following relationship. 2°C ≤ T1-T2 ≤ 30°C Alternatively, the biaxially oriented thermoplastic resin film containing transition metal oxide particles incorporated therein is regulated so as to have a coefficient of in-plane orientation of 0.120 or higher and lower than 0.280.

Abstract: A protective film for glass which comprises at least five layers including at least one layer comprising a polyester containing 1,4-cyclohexane dimethanol as a component and a protective film for glass which has a multilayer structure comprising at least two types of thermoplastic resin having glass transition temperatures being different by 40ringC or less, and has a face impact strength of 18 J/mm and a haze value of 3% or less. The both protective films for glass are excellent in transparency and also in tear strength and impact resistance, and thus can be suitably used for the protecting glass and also for preventing broken glass from scattering in the form of flakes.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated polyester film which has a large flexural strength even with the thickness lessened and which is excellent in heat resistance and also excellent preeminently in the form stability in a processing process and in an environment of use for a tape. SOLUTION: The laminated film has a structure of lamination of at least three layers or more, and the surface layer part thereof is a film layer constituted of a thermoplastic resin (A), while the central part comprises at least one film layer or more constituted of a thermoplastic resin (B) different from the thermoplastic resin (A). The glass transition temperature of the thermoplastic resin (A) is higher than that of the thermoplastic resin (B), and a flexural strength index converted into a thickness 5 μm in at least either the longitudinal or width direction of the film is 6 ×10-3-30×10-3 N/m.
