Abstract: In one instance, a recovery system to assist an athlete with recovery is presented that includes a battery-operated, flexible wrap that applies heat and optionally pneumatic pressure while utilizing both conductive and radiant heat. Heat may be applied by a heating element that function does both types of heat or a conductive heating element and a radiant heating element may be included. Optionally, at least one pneumatic bladder on the flexible wrap applies the pneumatic pressure to the user. The recovery system has a control unit that ramps the temperature applied before leveling at a target temperature. Other systems and devices are presented.

Abstract: Arrangement for compression sensing between two objects, preferably for compression treatment, in particular compression therapy arrangement, comprising a first object, e. f. a compression garment adapted to exert external pressure on a second object, e. g. a body portion and at least one sensor device associated with the first object and having at least one pressure sensor for determining the external pressure, wherein the pressure sensor comprises at least one pressure circuitry, having a sensing impedance which is dependent on the external pressure and at least one reference circuitry having a reference impedance which is essentially independent from the external pressure, wherein a cumulative signal which is dependent on the external pressure and other external influences acting in the vicinity of the sensing impedance is derivable from the pressure circuitry and a reference signal which is essentially independent from the external pressures but dependent on other external influences acting in the vicinity of the reference circuitry.

Abstract: A compression garment for circulatory-related disorder therapy includes a skin contacting layer, a second layer coupled to the skin contacting layer, and connectors disposed on the second layer. The skin contacting layer and the second layer form one or more macro-chambers. Each macro-chamber is partitioned into a plurality of micro-chambers. Each of the micro-chambers is in direct fluid communication with at least one other of the micro-chambers. Each of the connectors is configured to supply pressurized air directly into at least a corresponding one of the macro-chambers such that the pressurized air is delivered to at least one of the micro-chambers within the macro-chamber. The coupling of the skin contacting layer and the second layer is along a layer attachment profile that defines the macro-chambers and the micro-chambers. At least one of the micro-chambers is linked to another of the micro-chambers by way of a plurality of openings.

Abstract: Systems and methods for providing a customized configuration for a controller of an exoskeleton device. A device can receive, via a user interface, feedback from a user indicative of a performance of the user during a movement event. The device can determine characteristics of the user for performing the movement event using a first exoskeleton boot and a second exoskeleton boot and identify properties of a route for the movement event. The device can determine using the characteristics of the user, the feedback and the properties of the route, control parameters for the first exoskeleton boot and the second exoskeleton boot to execute the movement event. The device can apply the control parameters to the first exoskeleton boot and the second exoskeleton boot for the user to operate the first exoskeleton boot and the second exoskeleton boot during the movement event.

Abstract: Systems and methods for communicating between multiple lower limb exoskeletons are provided. A first exoskeleton boot can receive, responsive to transmitting a first packet, a second packet from a second exoskeleton boot through a wireless connection between the first exoskeleton boot and the second exoskeleton boot. The first exoskeleton boot can determine a latency for communication between the first exoskeleton boot and the second exoskeleton boot based on a time difference between transmission of the first packet and receipt of the second packet and update, responsive to the comparison, a model indicating data weighted based on the latency for controlling the first exoskeleton boot and the second exoskeleton boot. The first exoskeleton boot can generate, using data from the model, a command to cause an electric motor of the first exoskeleton boot to generate torque to aid a limb of a user in performing a movement.

Abstract: A haptic device is disclosed comprising at least one fluidic actuator operatively connectable with pumping means; and a plurality of movable members mechanically connected with said at least one fluidic actuator, wherein said movable members can perform a displacement upon actuation of the fluidic actuator and/or resist the movements of a body part of a user upon actuation of the fluidic actuator, to provide a tactile and/or force haptic sensation to a body part of a user. Methods for providing a haptic sensation to a user and receiving haptic input commands from a user are also disclosed.
