Abstract:
In device for placing a toe of a patient's foot in traction may broadly include a shoe portion (e.g., a sole, counter, and strap(s)); a toe attachment apparatus (e.g., a Chinese finger trap) having a cable extending therefrom; a pulley, with the cable wrapped about the pulley; and an apparatus (e.g., a ratchet, an actuator, and the like) configured to apply tension to the cable to create traction in the toe. A second actuator may adjust lateral positioning of the pulley relative to the shoe portion to set a desired angle of adduction for the traction provided to the toe by the cable. A meter may be coupled to the cable to indicate an amount of tension provided thereto. Another actuator may adjust elevational positioning of the pulley relative to the shoe portion to set a desired angle of dorsiflexion for the traction provided to the toe by the cable.
Abstract:
A breast massager (not shown) arranged to provide a combing motion is provided. The breast massager comprises a number of linearly arranged massaging protrusions (2) which perform a circular or elliptical motion in a plane coinciding with the linear arrangement of the massaging protrusions (2) and perpendicular to a skin of a woman's breast (1). The massaging protrusions (2) are arranged to invoke a linear arrangement of local areas of increased pressure on the skin varying in position and pressure during the circular or elliptical motion.

Abstract:
The Invention discloses a foldable and track-changeable training chair for coordinated exercises of upper and lower limbs, comprising: a seat, a driving device below the seat and racks on both sides of the seat; an out-stretched driving shaft and an accessory shaft are arranged on each side of the driving device; one end of the crank of the seven-bar mechanism on both sides of the seat is fixed to the driving shaft, the other end is hinged to the head end of the first connecting rod to form a revolute pair. The Invention has a simple structure and wide usage.
Abstract:
A rehabilitation system with stiffness measurement on a body part to be rehabilitated is disclosed. The rehabilitation system includes a rehabilitation unit and a processor. The rehabilitation unit includes an exoskeleton brace holding a rehabilitation part of user and traction lines driving the exoskeleton brace for moving. When the exoskeleton brace moves, the processor analyzes tensions of the traction lines to obtain stiffness information relating to the rehabilitation part of user.
Abstract:
A portable human exoskeleton system (1) includes a pelvis module (10), a leg module (20) and a foot module (30). The pelvis module (10) includes a bendable member (11) and a pelvis module connector (12). The foot module (30) includes a foot module connector (33). The leg module (20) includes: a femur module (21) detachably coupled to the pelvis module connector (12); a tibia module (22) detachably coupled to the foot module connector (33); and a knee joint component (23) having at least two linkages with different lengths wherein each linkage is pivotally coupled to the femur module (21) and the tibia module (22). Weight above the hip of the user is exerted on the pelvis module (10), and transferred to the leg module (20) and the foot module (30). The exoskeleton system is easily disassembled and carried, and can be worn inside attire without affecting appearance of the user.
Abstract:
A portable assembly for treating desiccated and injured spinal discs includes a collapsible stretcher including a rectangular frame and a plurality of legs connected with the frame; a spinal stretching assembly connected with one end of the stretcher and an adjustable harness connected with the stretcher another end of the stretcher. The portable assembly operates to stretch and apply tension and decompression through the thoracic and lumbar regions of a patient lying on the stretcher. A method for treating desiccated and injured spinal discs includes the steps of administering at least one dietary supplement to the patient; administering at least one medication to the patient; hydrating the patient; positioning the patient on a stretcher in a prone position; stretching and applying tension and decompression through thoracic and lumbar regions of the patient via a spinal stretching assembly; and executing Chi breathing.
Abstract:
A personal massager comprises a housing having a front end and a back end. A motor is mounted within the housing, and a crank is configured to move in a circular path within the housing when actuated by the motor. A rocker arm having a first end and a second end is rotatably coupled at a first location to the housing. An armature having a first end and a second end is rotatably coupled at a first location to the crank, and is rotatably coupled at a second location to a second location on the rocker arm. The armature may also be rotatably coupled at a third location to a third location on the rocker arm. A massage head is coupled to the first end of the armature.
Abstract:

Among the features of the device are a leg rest height adjustment arrangement that is simple to operate and provides substantially continuous height adjustment, a leg rest folding mechanism that pivotally couples the leg rest to a leg rest support shaft to place the leg rest in operative and storage positions, and a flexible cover that does not substantially change its length during height adjustment.
Abstract:
A reversibly slide-swingable balance-training apparatus includes a base unit, a transmission unit mounted in the base unit and providing a movement-constraining eccentric shaft and a power-maintaining rotary member for rotating the movement-constraining eccentric shaft continuously, one or a pair of linkages each having a first link pivotally connected to the movement-constraining eccentric shaft of the transmission unit, a second link pivotally coupled between the first link and the base unit and a third link pivotally connected to the second link, and a platform pivotally connected to the first link and third link of each linkage. Subject to the oscillation motion of the links of the linkage counteracting the postures of the user and the functioning of the movement-constraining eccentric shaft and the continuation of the energy of the power-maintaining rotary member, the platform is reversibly slide-swinging for best balance training.
