Disclosed are hydraulic/electronic control units (1, 2) for an electronic brake control system. A hydraulic/electronic control unit of current ABS/TCS/ESP systems essentially includes a central hydraulic block (6) and an electronic control unit (1) including control electronics on a control circuit board (4). The circuit board (4) is structured in such a way that it is insulated completely towards the outside on at least one first side (28) and includes an essentially smooth surface. Thus it is possible to use the hydraulic block (6) for cooling the circuit board (4).

A printed circuit board according to the present invention is a printed circuit board (4) including a component mounting pin (1) made of a metal wire to connect with a semiconductor chip (10). The semiconductor chip (10) is a surface mounting type semiconductor chip having an electrode pad on its mounting surface for use in a flip-chip mounting system. The component mounting pin (1) is formed by using wire-bonding technology. This printed circuit board (4) is able to decrease malconnections or disconnection caused by a difference between the coefficients of thermal expansion of the semiconductor chip (10) and the printed circuit board (4).

An inter-member connection structure is provided. The inter-member connection structure has a contact-attached sheet having spiral contactors and a flexible printed circuit having electrode portions thereon that face each other. An elastic member and a fixed member are installed on the contact-attached sheet, and both ends of the fixed member are fixed on the mother board by mounting members. As an elastic force is applied to the spiral contactor from the elastic member, the spiral contactor appropriately comes in contact with the electrode portion, and the contact-attached sheet and the flexible printed circuit can be securely supported on the board. A method of manufacturing an inter-member connection structure is provided.

According to one embodiment, there is provided a substrate structure including a printed-wiring board. A micro-contact sheet is soldered to the printed-wiring board, and includes a spiral terminal on a first surface thereof and a pad on a second surface thereof. The pad is electrically connected to the spiral terminal. A holding jig presses the micro-contact sheet against the printed-wiring board such that the second surface of the micro-contact sheet contacts with the printed-wiring board.

In order to improve the reliability of an electrical connection between a power supply terminal of a vibrator and an electrode of a circuit board and to improve the efficiency of mounting the vibrator on the circuit board, the power supply terminal is made from a torsion coil spring and a contact portion of the power supply terminal in contact with the electrode of the circuit board is formed by winding. In addition, a torsion coil spring portion is wound around a spindle pin and a housing is provided with a step portion as a space for accommodating the contact portion without interference and a plane portion to which the contact portion faces. Moreover, a partition plate is provided between a pair of power supply terminals or a space where the contact portion can be elastically deformed is surrounded by a box member, a pair of power supply terminals having positive and negative polarities are extended in a bilaterally symmetric direction from torsion coil spring portions to the contact portions, and the power supply terminals are constructed so as to be elastically deformed to allow each contact portion to reach the outside of each torsion coil spring portion.

A magnetically shielded circuit board having a conductive solenoid to repel high speed charged particles away from an integrated circuit chip. The conductive solenoid is embedded in the circuit board, or located around the circuit board, or located within an integrated circuit package, the integrated circuit package have been connected to the circuit board. The conductive solenoid is used for conducting an electrical current, the electrical current forming a magnetic field. The magnetic field will repel high speed charged particles away from the integrated circuit chip, the integrated circuit chip being within the integrated circuit package. The circuit board can be used in a space vehicle.

A connecting structure is for a printed wiring board to be electrically connected to a FPC. The FPC includes a substrate and electro-conductive portions. The printed wiring board includes an insertion opening provided on an edge surface thereof, and line connecting terminals formed on an inner wall face of the insertion opening. A dual in-line contact member including first contact members is fixed to the top end portion of the FPC. Each first contact member includes a main body, and a first arm and a second arm extending from the main body generally in parallel to each other. Furthermore, the first arm and the second arm are bent at bent portions so as to form curves protruding away from each other. With the present embodiment, at least one of the first arm and the second arm press the corresponding line connecting terminal provided within the insertion opening at the bent portion thereof by inserting the FPC to the insertion opening of the printed wiring board. Thus, the FPC is connected to the edge surface of the printed wiring board. This improves the freedom from the perspective of design of the wiring pattern as well as allowing mounting of circuit components with high circuit density.
Abstract:
A spiral contactor is provided on a substrate. An electronic function part and the substrate are adhered with an anisotropic conductive paste while an electrode portion of the electronic function part is being contacted with the spiral contactor. Thus, the electronic function part and the substrate can be securely fixed together while an adequate electrical connection between the electrode portion of the electronic function part and the spiral contactor is ensured.
