Abstract: The disclosed systems and methods improve human performance in time-sensitive activities by manipulating human energy systems to allow a practitioner to clear mental and physical blockages. Some embodiments include a method that creates a profile for the practitioner; conducts a characterization process to determine the type of blockage and activity for the practitioner; selects a training session comprised of modalities that help the practitioner neutralize the identified blockages; and guides the practitioner through the training session. Other embodiments include a system that comprises a software application configured to operate on a computing device. The application creates a user profile for a practitioner; conducts an inquiry to determine the type of activity and blockage facing the practitioner; selects a training session from a library of stored modalities and sequences; and guides the practitioner through the training session. Some embodiments solicit feedback to rate the effectiveness of the training session.

Abstract: A robotic walker and associated method are provided. The robotic walker includes a housing containing a control unit operatively connected to a drive unit. The drive unit is operatively connected to a pair of motorized drive wheels. The robotic walker includes first and second winches, each winch having a strap that can be retracted by its respective winch, each winch is operatively connected to the drive unit, each strap having an end adapted to be removably connected to a pair of leg braces worn by a user. The first and second winches may retract a portion of each respective strap to move the legs of the user forward. A first control button is operatively connected to the control unit. The control unit is configured to operate the robotic walker in at least one control mode and the first control button being operable to start the at least one control mode.

Abstract: A training apparatus includes a fixed frame, an training rod, a motor, a rotation information detection sensor, a tilt angle calculation unit, a feedback current detection unit, a position difference calculation unit, and a determination unit. The training rod tilts with at least one degree of freedom. The motor tilts the training rod. The rotation information detection sensor outputs an amount of rotation of the motor. The tilt angle calculation unit calculates a tilt angle. The feedback current detection unit detects a feedback current value. The position difference calculation unit calculates a position difference every time when a first time period elapses. The determination unit determines an error when the position difference generated during the first time period is a first threshold or higher, or when the feedback current value keeps a first current value or higher for a second time period or longer.

Abstract: A control method for a lower limb rehabilitation apparatus for rehabilitation of the lower limbs of a user includes the step of putting an exoskeleton on the lower limbs of the user, the step of setting a trigger condition, the step of using EMG muscle sensors to detect EMG signals from specific muscles of the user when the user is performing specific actions, the step of judging whether the sensing result meets the trigger condition, and the step of re-setting the triggering condition without moving the exoskeleton if the sensing result does not meet the trigger condition, or, the step of triggering a motion generator to provide a control signal to a control unit for controlling the exoskeleton in moving the lower limbs of the user to perform specific actions if the sensing result meets the trigger condition.

Abstract: Described herein are embodiments of a system and a device for performing remote ischemic conditioning that may be configured to treat a subject in accordance with particular usage restrictions and/or a particular treatment protocol. More particularly, in some embodiments a RIC device may include at least two parts, an inflatable cuff to fit around a limb of a subject and a controller that operates the inflatable cuff to inflate and deflate and thus alternate between ischemia and reperfusion of the limb in accordance with a treatment protocol. The inflatable cuff may include a computer-readable storage and that storage may include usage restrictions and/or configuration settings for the controller, to configure the controller to operate the inflatable cuff in accordance with the usage restrictions and to perform a particular treatment protocol when operating the inflatable cuff.
