Abstract: Devices and methods for tissue treatment produce a mechanical stimulation therapy and electromagnetic field therapy. The mechanical stimulation therapy provides stimulation of blood circulation and stimulates treated cells. The electromagnetic field enables thermal treatment of tissue. Combination of both therapies improves soft tissue treatment, mainly connective tissue in the skin area and fat reduction.

Abstract: A light emitting module and massage device provide vaginal rejuvenation. The device exposes collagen in the vaginal area or mucosa to temperatures elevated over normal body temperature to cause the collagen to reversibly or irreversibly denature while simultaneously applying vibration. Once thermally-induced collagen denaturation has occurred, both neoelastogenesis and neocollagenesis may occur and may be initiated with fibroblast proliferation, which may be promoted with vibration. Neofibrogenesis also occurs due to the fibroblastic activity, responsible for secretion of new collagen matrix to effect tissue repair. Thus, the device exploits thermally-induced collagen denaturation and repair along with simultaneous vibration to improve tissue tone, connective tissue tension and bulk tissue regeneration.

Abstract: A controller for a motion assisting apparatus for a wearer includes circuitry. The circuitry is configured to set switching points in a change in a turning angle of a drive mechanism driven by a drive motor and attached to an ankle joint of the wearer to assist a turning motion of the ankle joint, a ratio of the change in the turning angle being equal to zero at the switching points. The circuitry is configured to set a motion pattern such that the turning angle monotonically increases or monotonically decreases between the switching points. The circuitry is configured to control the drive motor to change the turning angle according to the motion pattern.

Abstract: A prosthetic penis provides the wearer with somatosensory feedback on another part of the wearer in response to external influences or stimuli on the prosthetic penis. Sensors on the prosthetic penis are mapped to output elements on an output device that is in contact with the wearer's body. The output device may be applied to the wearer's skin or inserted anally or vaginally. Feedback of touch, pressure, and/or temperature on the prosthesis is such that the wearer's perception mimics that of touch, pressure, and/or temperature stimuli on an actual, biological penis.

Abstract: Devices, systems and methods are provided for treating migraine headaches and other conditions by non-invasive electrical stimulation of nerves and other tissue. A hand-held device includes a housing with a controller having a signal generator, an electrode for delivering electrical signals, and a conductive surface configured as a return path for the electrical signals. In certain implementations, the electrode is repositionable with respect to the housing. The patient can self-apply the hand-held device by pressing it against areas in need of pain relief. The device may include a pressure-sensitive gating switch to control delivery of the stimulation therapy. In certain embodiments, the electrode is a rollerball electrode. The device may include a chamber for retaining and dispensing conductive gel to the therapy site. In certain approaches, the device includes an electrode support for coupling an electrical stimulation system to the head for hands-free electrical stimulation therapy.
