Abstract: An apparatus for manufacturing tow prepreg includes: a spreading roller which adjusts an incident angle of supplied fiber; and two or more coating rollers including a first roller and a second roller which rotate while having a gap between the first roller and the second roller, in which the fiber supplied from the spreading roller passes through the gap between the first roller and the second roller to be coated with resin. The incident angle of the fiber supplied for immersing the resin is adjusted to adjust tension applied to the fiber supplied to a coating roller, thereby adjusting the content of resin.

Abstract: A method for making pots and pans, equipped with a multi-layer coating of non-stick material including the forming of multiple layers of coating of an inner surface of a wall delimiting a cooking cavity, performed by cyclical repetition of a step of applying suitable substances and subsequent drying and baking in an oven of said layers of substances applied, at least the final layer of said substances being obtained by using a non-stick substance. The method includes, before the step of applying the substance for forming at least the final layer coating the cooking cavity of the pot, a step of adding as an additive edible oil or grease to the liquid substance to be applied for forming said final layer.

Abstract: A method for forming a protective coating for a component of plasma processing chamber is provided. A first ceramic coating is plasma sprayed over a surface of the component, wherein the first ceramic coating has pores. A sealant is applied over the first ceramic coating wherein sealant fills the pores of the first ceramic coating. The sealant is cured. A second ceramic coating is deposited over the first ceramic coating and sealant, wherein the second ceramic coating is thinner than and more dense than the first ceramic coating, wherein the depositing the second ceramic coating is by at least one of aerosol depositing or atomic layer deposition or sol-gel deposition.

Abstract: A method of forming a self-cleaning film system includes depositing a perfluorocarbon siloxane polymer onto a substrate to form a first layer. The method includes removing a plurality of portions of the first layer to define a plurality of cavities in the first layer and form a plurality of projections that protrude from the substrate. The method includes depositing a photocatalytic material onto the plurality of projections and into the plurality of cavities to form a second layer comprising: a bonded portion disposed in the plurality of cavities and in contact with the substrate, and a non-bonded portion disposed on the plurality of projections and spaced apart from the substrate. The method also includes, after depositing the photocatalytic material, removing the non-bonded portion to thereby form the self-cleaning film system.

Abstract: A composite structure may comprise a composite core comprising a composite material, and a heat resistant system coupled to the composite core comprising a binder and/or at least one of a heat dissipation material or a thermal barrier material. The heat dissipation material may comprise boron nitride, graphene, graphite, carbon fiber, carbon nanotubes, aluminum foil, and/or copper foil, and the thermal barrier material may comprise montmorillonite, aluminum hydroxide, magnesium hydroxide, silicate glass, mica powder or flake, aluminum oxide powder, titanium dioxide powder, and/or zirconium oxide powder. The binder may comprise at least one of polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl alcohol copolyacetate, polyacrylamide, polyethylene glycol, polyethylenimine, polyurethane, polyester, or latex.

Abstract: As one sensor layer structure for a capacitive touch panel, a layer structure in which a transparent electroconductive layer is formed on each of opposite surfaces of a single film substrate, so-called GFD structure, is used. In the structure, for sufficiently suppressing internal reflection from the transparent electroconductive layer, it is necessary to employ a technique of forming one or more refractive index adjustment (IM) layers on each of the opposite surfaces of the single film substrate. This causes a problem that production yield is likely to deteriorate, and a production cost is increased. The present invention is directed to solving such a problem and, specifically, to laminating a refractive index adjustment zone-formed pressure-sensitive adhesive layer capable of being produced easily and at low cost, to each transparent electroconductive layer of a double-sided transparent electroconductive film, so as to effectively suppress internal reflection in the resulting laminate.
