Abstract: Disclosed is a caching system for processing web-based service requests. The caching system includes one or more pluralities of servers coupled to one or more online common storage. Each one of the plurality of servers processes caching service requests from one or more clients coupled to the plurality of servers. Each one of the plurality of servers is capable of operating in an active/single mode, and active/active mode, or an active/standby mode. A timestamp exchange process is used to update or eliminate outdated database records.

Abstract: In some example embodiments, a request for a navigation action is detected via a web browser during a pre-navigation state of a single page application, and a state object is persisted, with the state object comprising a dictionary property and an index property. The dictionary property comprises a list of all uniform resource locator (URL) fragments stored in a browser history, with the list of URL fragments comprising a pre-navigation URL fragment for the pre-navigation state and a post-navigation URL fragment for a post-navigation state. The pre-navigation state is navigated to within the web browser using the state object. Based on a detection of unsaved data, a navigation confirmation request is displayed within the recovered pre-navigation state of the single-page application using the pre-navigation URL fragment. The navigation confirmation request is configured to receive an indication of whether or not to perform the navigation action.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and configured storage media are provided for flexible data mirroring. In particular, the invention provides many-to-one data mirroring, including mirroring from local servers running the same or different operating systems and/or file systems at two or more geographically dispersed locations. The invention also provides one-to-many data mirroring, mirroring with or without a dedicated private telecommunications link, and mirroring with or without a dedicated server or another server at the destination(s) to assist the remote mirroring unit(s). In addition, the invention provides flexibility by permitting the use of various combinations of one or more external storage units and/or RAID units to hold mirrored data. Spoofing, SCSI and other bus emulations, and further tools and techniques are used in various embodiments of the invention.

Abstract: The present invention provides a mechanism for generating an initial copy in replication initialization. A request is received to replicate a source volume from a source node to a target node so as to generate the initial copy of the source volume in the target node. With respect to a current source data block of at least one source data block contained in the source volume, a search in the target node is performed for a target data block corresponding to the current source data block. Responsive to identifying the target data block, the initial copy of the source volume in the target node is updated using the target data block with the information from the current source data block.

Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for distributing and replaying trigger packets via a variable latency bus interconnect in a trace system. An embodiment of such a method comprises generating a plurality of trigger packets from a plurality of trigger sources on a system on chip. Each trigger packet defines a corresponding event and a corresponding system-generated timestamp. The plurality of trigger packets are distributed from the corresponding trigger sources to a centralized logic analyzer via a variable latency bus interconnect. The received triggered packets are re-ordered according to the corresponding system-generated timestamps into an order in which the corresponding events occurred. The received trigger packets are replayed in the order in which the corresponding events occurred.
