Abstract: Provided are a compound which is excellent in solubility in a solvent and easily provides a film exhibiting high mobility without complicated processes, an organic semiconductor material using the same, and an organic semiconductor ink which enables easy fabrication of an organic transistor composed of a practical configuration. The problems are solved by a method of producing a dinaphthothiophene derivative, the method including the following steps (I) and (II): (I) a first step of subjecting a naphthol derivative represented by General Formula (A) and a naphthalene thiol derivative represented by General Formula (B) to dehydration condensation in the presence of acid to produce a sulfide derivative represented by General formula (C); and (II) a second step of performing dehydrogenation reaction of the sulfide derivative (C) in the presence of a transition metal salt or a transition metal complex to produce a dinaphthothiophene derivative (D).

Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for forming a multilayer coating film, the method comprising sequentially applying a colored coating composition (X), an effect pigment dispersion (Y), and a clear coating composition (Z) to a substrate to form an uncured colored coating film, an uncured effect coating film, and an uncured clear coating film, respectively, and heating the uncured colored coating film, the uncured effect coating film, and the uncured clear coating film to simultaneously cure these three coating films, thereby forming a multilayer coating film; wherein the effect pigment dispersion (Y) contains water, a specific surface modifier (A), a flake-effect pigment (B), and a viscosity modifier (C); and a film obtained by applying the effect pigment dispersion (Y) to a dry film thickness of 0.2 μm has a light transmittance at a wavelength of 550 nm of 10 to 50%.

Abstract: A conductive coating composition includes graphite intercalation compounds, metal particles, a binder, and a dissolving agent. The graphite intercalation compounds are compounds having a sandwich structure where various atoms, molecules, etc., are inserted between layers of graphite, which is a layered material in which carbon hexagonal net planes are laminated in parallel. The binder and the dissolving agent allow the graphite intercalation compounds and the metal particles to be bonded. The volume of the graphite intercalation compounds in the conductive coating composition is larger than the volume of the metal particles in the conductive coating composition.

Abstract: Provided are a surface-treated metal sheet excellent in the adhesiveness to a coating treatment film and weldability and a coated member. The surface-treated metal sheet includes a metal sheet and a coating film placed on at least one major surface of the metal sheet; the coating film contains oxide particles, a binder resin, and electrically conductive particles; the amount of electrically conductive particles contained is 5 to 30 mass % relative to the coating film; the oxide particles include non-doped oxide particles and/or doped oxide particles; the non-doped oxide particles include at least one kind selected from the group consisting of zinc oxide particles, tin oxide particles, magnesium oxide particles, calcium oxide particles, and strontium oxide particles; the doped oxide particles include at least one kind selected from the group consisting of doped zinc oxide particles and doped tin oxide particles; the amount of oxide particles contained is 1 to 30 mass %, but is 1 to 10 mass % relative to the coating film in the case of not including doped oxide particles; and the amount of the coating film attached to the major surface is 2 to 20 g/m2.
