Abstract: A treatment device for treating the skin, includes a body including a housing forming a gripping area, an electrical supply device arranged in the body, at least one treatment head including a massage device, a device for maneuvering the massage device, actuated by an electric motor which is connected to the electrical supply device, a light source, and a light guide having a projection surface for receiving light emitted by the light source and for projecting a light beam towards an area on the skin. The light guide includes a face opposite the projection surface, the opposite face including a distribution system for distributing the light along the projection surface, and the massage device has an area for contact with the skin to be massaged, the area being intended for transmitting the light and consisting of a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) material having a light transmission of between 0.8 and 0.9 for light with a wavelength of 590 nm or 630 nm.

Abstract: A multifunctional treatment device includes a housing, a processing unit, a power driver unit, and a motor configured to rotate a brush interface element. RF electrodes and electrical terminals are connected to the power driver unit. A plurality of treatment heads are connectable to the housing. One of the treatment heads includes a brush head with bristles and one or more non-conductive barriers. The brush head is formed with apertures and the RF electrodes pass through and protrude out of the apertures. Another of the treatment heads includes a movable brush head. Another one of the stationary treatment heads includes a treatment surface configured to contact a skin or body of a user and one or more active components for performing different kinds of treatment.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable body-contact therapeutic device comprising a main body having a first main body member and a second main body member combined in a clip form such that pants, panties or a belt are worn by being inserted between the opposing surfaces from one side, characterized in that in a state that the pants, the panties or the belt are worn by being inserted in the main body, the outer surface of the first main body member is formed toward the body outside and the outer surface of the second main body member is formed so as to contact the body skin, wherein a current output circuit for outputting a current is included on the inside of the main body, and a main body electrode pad to which the current outputted from the current output circuit is applied is formed in the outer surface of the second main body member. According to the present invention, it is possible to provide a portable body-contact therapeutic device which can easily be worn so as to directly contact the body, and which can maximize the therapy effect for each of various women's diseases.

Abstract: A system for use during administration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) chest compressions on a victim is described. The system includes a chest compression monitor that includes a motion sensor configured to generate signals indicative of the victim's chest motion and a control system communicatively coupled to the chest compression monitor and configured to receive the generated signals, detect compression waveform features representative of the chest compressions based on the received signals, compare the features to a pre-determined criterion that distinguishes between a manual source of the chest compressions and a piston-based chest compression device source, determine whether the source of the chest compressions is the manual or the piston-based chest compression device source based on the comparison, and generate an output based on whether the source of the chest compressions is determined to be the manual or the piston-based chest compression device source.

Abstract: A method and system enabling delivery of a sleep therapy type is provided. The method includes receiving a value of a parameter measured by physical sensors while a mammal is in contact with a first subset of the physical sensors. A second subset of the physical sensors, whose received value differs from a predetermined reference value of an environmental parameter, is determined. A physical part subset of the second subset, corresponding to a specified body part, is determined by utilizing the second subset and virtual data for identifying virtual sensors spatially distributed to map a space occupied by the mammal's body parts. In response, a therapy device positioned in sufficiently close proximity to the specified body part to effectively deliver the specified therapy type to the specified body part is determined and a control signal is generated and transmitted to the therapy device.

Abstract: The invention relates to a device for driving the lower limbs of a person, including a base frame; a table supporting the person; at least one motorized mechanical orthosis arranged to constitute an interface with at least one of the lower limbs of the person so that the movements of the lower limb and the orthosis are connected and identical and with the orthosis being attached to one end of the table; and a device for functional electrical stimulation and for measuring an electromyogram including at least one pair of stimulation and measurement electrodes intended for acting on a muscle or muscle group of the lower limb, and for stimulating the muscle or muscle group, as well as for measuring the reaction of the muscle or muscle group, wherein the device also includes a raising mechanism which makes it possible to vary the vertical position of the table relative to the base frame between a low position in which the transfer and the installation of the person are made easier, intermediate working positions, and a raised position making it possible to drive the person in a standing position, and a mechanism for tilting the table which makes it possible to vary the inclination of the table relative to the base frame, in particular between a horizontal position in which the person is positioned in dorsal decubitus, and a vertical position in which the person is in a standing position, and wherein the combination of the mechanisms for raising and tilting the table allowing the mobility of the orthosis across the entire respective physiological ranges of movement of the lower limb.
