Abstract: A method and an arrangement are disclosed for producing an electrically conductive pattern on a surface. Electrically conductive solid particles are transferred onto an area of predetermined form on a surface of a substrate. The electrically conductive solid particles are heated to a temperature that is higher than a characteristic melting point of the electrically conductive solid particles, thus creating a melt. The melt is pressed against the substrate in a nip, wherein a surface temperature of a portion of the nip that comes against the melt is lower than said characteristic melting point.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides a stable aqueous composition comprising an aqueous component, a hydrophobic complex comprised of a multivalent metal salt complexed with nanocellulose fibers and lignin, with the composition exhibiting a viscosity sufficient to prevent coalescing and settling of the hydrophobic complex in the aqueous component. The composition may be used to coat surfaces of articles to produce a hydrophobic surface. Once applied to the surface, the aqueous coating is spread to form a wet film covering the surface and is then dewatered and dried to produce a dried hydrophobic coating.

Abstract: The present invention provides a mold release film including a resin layer provided on one surface of a polyester film, wherein the resin layer includes 100 parts by mass of a polypropylene-based modified polyolefin resin with the proportion of a modifying component of 1 to 10% by mass and 1 to 50 parts by mass of a cross-linking agent; the peel strength between the resin layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive measured by bonding a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive to the resin layer exceeds 3.0 N/cm; and the residual adhesion rate of a pressure-sensitive adhesive after bonding an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive to the resin layer is 80% or more.

Abstract: A glue application roller for use in a gluing assembly equipped with at least one scooping roller includes a glue roller body that is provided with a central hole to receive a drive shaft. The glue roller body has at least two parts including a base and an outer ring. The base is operatively connected to the drive shaft by a non-positive fit. The outer ring is configured with at least one cavity. The base and the outer ring are coupled to each other non-positively via at least one first means. On at least one side of the glue roller body, there are second means that ensure that compressed air and/or another gaseous or liquid medium is fed into or discharged from the cavity so as to effectuate a change in a circumferential contour of the cavity.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an inorganic paint composition, and a method for forming an inorganic paint film by using the same. The inorganic paint composition comprises: at least one alkali metal silicates represented by the following chemical formulas 1-3; phosphoric acid (H3PO4); one or more strong bases selected from KOH, NaOH and LiOH; and water (H2O) (In chemical formulas 1-3, x and y are 0.01-500, and n is a natural number of 1-20). [Chemical formula 1] xNa2O.ySiO2.nH2O, [Chemical formula 2] xK2O.ySiO2.nH2O, and [Chemical formula 3] xLi2O.ySiO2.nH2O. An inorganic coating film formed using the inorganic paint composition of the present invention has a strong binding force, regardless of the kinds of base materials, and thus shows excellent adhesion, adherence and the like to the base material and is not separated from the base material even after a long time.

Abstract: Provided are: chopped carbon fiber bundles which have high fluidity without decreasing the dispersibility of carbon fibers and the physical properties of a molded product; and a method for producing chopped carbon fiber bundles with high productivity. Chopped carbon fiber bundles, each of which contain a carbon fiber bundle having a total fineness of from 25,000 dtex to 45,000 dtex (inclusive) and a sizing agent in an amount of from 1% by mass to 5% by mass (inclusive) relative to the total mass of the chopped carbon fiber bundle. The length (L) of each chopped carbon fiber bundle along the fiber direction of the carbon fiber bundle is from 1 mm to 50 mm (inclusive); the ratio of the longest diameter (Dmax) to the shortest diameter (Dmin) of a cross section perpendicular to the fiber direction of each chopped carbon fiber bundle, namely Dmax/Dmin is from 6.0 to 18.0 (inclusive); and the orientation parameter of the single fibers present in the surface of each chopped carbon fiber bundle is 4.0 or less.

The composition may be a powder, wherein a method of treating the surface includes applying pressure to the powder on the surface with an applicator, and the pressure releases the liquid sealant from the powder onto the surface. The liquid may comprise water and one or more polymers, such as a fluorocopolymer and a functionalized anionic polymer.
