Abstract: The invention relates to a method of preparing a catalyst comprising a) preparation of a support comprising 0.2 to 30 wt % of zeolite NU-86 and from 70 to 99.8 wt % of a porous mineral matrix, the percentages by weight being expressed relative to the total weight of said support, b) impregnation of the support prepared according to step a) with at least one solution containing at least one precursor of at least one metal selected from group VIII metals and group VIB metals, used alone or as a mixture, c) at least one ripening step, and d) at least one drying step carried out at a temperature below 150° C., without a subsequent calcining step. The present invention also relates to a process for hydrocracking hydrocarbon feeds using the catalyst prepared according to the method of preparation according to the invention.

Abstract: The catalyst for mild-hydrocracking of residual oil includes a porous alumina support a plurality of transition metals impregnated on the alumina support. The support has a specific surface area greater than 150 m2/g, a total pore volume ranging from about 0.25 ml/g to about 1.5 ml/g, about 20% of the pores having a diameter greater than 150 nm, about 70% of the pores having a diameter ranging from about 2 nm to about 150 nm, and about 10% of the pores having a diameter less than 2 nm. The plurality of transition metals include one Group VIII element and one or more Group VI elements.

Abstract: A highly practical SCR catalyst excellent in NOx purification performance is provided. The SCR catalyst includes a blend of an aluminosilicate molecular sieve that has supported thereon copper as an extra-framework metal and that has a CHA framework, and a silicoaluminophosphate molecular sieve that has a CHA framework, and is adapted to perform selective catalytic reduction of NOx. In the SCR catalyst, the silicoaluminophosphate molecular sieve and the aluminosilicate molecular sieve contain silicoaluminophosphate and aluminosilicate, respectively, in a molar ratio of silicoaluminophosphate:aluminosilicate of 0.1:1.0 to 0.4:1.0.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a catalyst composition comprising (a) at least one rare earth metal, (b) at least one zeolite, and (c) at least one diluent, wherein, said rare earth metal is impregnated in at least one of (b) and (c); the ratio of said zeolite to said diluent ranges from 1:9 to 9:1; and the amount of said rare earth metal is in the range of 0.1 to 20 w/w %. The present disclosure also relates to a process for preparing a catalyst composition. Further, the present disclosure relates to a process for reducing the olefin content in a hydrocarbon stream using the catalyst of the present disclosure.
