Abstract:
A connector system for a liquid container system for a spray gun includes a lid that includes a liquid outlet and an adapter. The adapter includes a spray gun end and a lid end. The ends are connected with a liquid-tight passageway. Further, the spray gun end is adapted for releasable engagement with a liquid inlet port of the spray gun and the lid end is adapted for releasable engagement with the liquid outlet. The connector system also includes a plurality of interlocking tab assemblies for releasably attaching the adapter to the lid. Each assembly includes a first tab and a second tab, wherein an end of the first tab is adapted to secure the adapter to the lid when the first tab and the second tab are interlocked.
Abstract:
An apparatus and system that efficiently and effectively delivers a sanitizing fluid to ducts in the form of a fog or mist is described. A canister that contains a liquid sanitizing solution is attached to a compressor and includes a straw that has an internal passageway that extends into the liquid and a venturi tube above the level of the liquid that connects with the internal passageway in the straw. The headspace above the liquid in the canister is pressurized, causing fluid to flow upwardly in the straw when a trigger is depressed, drawing fluid upwardly in part by the venturi. As the liquid passes the venturi the pressurized air that is flowing into the venturi causes the fluid to form a fine mist. The mist, under pressure from the compressor, is routed into a flexible delivery tube that has been previously positioned in a duct system. The terminal end of the tube has an atomizing ball attached thereto and the atomizing ball has a series of orifices through which the misted, atomized fluid is delivered. As fogged sanitizing solution flows through the orifices it is deposited on the interior surfaces of the duct. The delivery tube and the attached atomizing ball are withdrawn from the duct as the sanitizing fog is emitted from the ball. The fan in the HVAC system is not activated so there is no deliver of the sanitizer through registers and into the living space. The apparatus and method may be used to apply other fluids to other surfaces.
Abstract:
An adapter allows direct connection of a handheld spray device to paint cans of varying dimensions. The adapter includes a cage for holding the paint can, a cap that connects the cage to the handheld spray device, and a gasket that seals the open upper end of the paint can to the cap. The adapter may also include a suction tube extension that is connectable between the pump inlet and the suction tube of the spray device. A can spacer insert is positionable in the cage to elevate paint cans of varying heights so that the upper ring of the paint can engages the gasket.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an applicator for applying a photocurable composite material over a large surface of a component, having a reservoir for the composite material and at least one lamp for curing the photocurable composite material, and according to the invention—the reservoir comprises at least one discharge region for the photocurable material, through which the photocurable material can be supplied to an applicator elements;—the applicator element is opaque to the light emitted by the lamp;—the photocurable material can be applied to the surface or spread on the surface of the component by contact of the applicator element with the surface. The invention further relates to an applicator element for an applicator, having at least one lamp and designed like a nozzle, the applicator element applying the photocurable material to the surface and/or spreading the photocurable material on the surface of the component by contact with the surface.
Abstract:
A device for applying a mixed component includes first and second component reservoirs, a static mixing nozzle configured to mix first and second components into the mixed component, a component passage disposed between the component reservoirs and the first end of the static mixing nozzle, the component passage disposed to enable the first and second components to flow from the reservoirs to the static mixing nozzle, a spray tip including an air inlet disposed at least partially between the first end of the spray tip and the second end of the spray tip, the first end of the spray tip being disposed adjacent the second end of the static mixing nozzle, a component applicator configured to use air to apply the mixed component through the second end of the spray tip, and a trigger mechanism disposed on the component applicator, and configured to enable application of the mixed component.
Abstract:
A pressure sensor unit to be attached to an air inlet port of an air tool, comprising a valve portion configured to shut off an air supply from an air passage through an induction pipe insertion portion when an air induction pipe of the air tool is not inserted in the induction pipe inserting portion, and configured to open the air supply from the air passage into the air induction pipe by the valve portion being pushed by the air induction pipe when the air induction pipe is inserted into the induction pipe inserting portion.
Abstract:
An arrangement for dispensing a fluid comprises a fluid cartridge comprising a casing for accommodating the fluid and a fluid dispensing unit configured for generating particles upon feeding the fluid in the casing with pressurized medium. The arrangement further comprises a dispenser device comprising a cartridge accommodation unit configured for accommodating the fluid cartridge and a pressure feed unit configured for feeding the fluid in a casing of the fluid cartridge with a pressurized medium upon accommodating the fluid cartridge in the cartridge accommodation unit to thereby generate the particles upon feeding the fluid in the casing with the pressurized medium.
Abstract:
A nozzle of a spray gun includes an air cap, a board, a cover and a nozzle. The air cap has a central path. The central path has a first inner periphery and a second inner periphery which is larger than the first inner periphery. Two guide faces each are a tapered face which is connected between the first and second inner peripheries of the central path of the air cap. The two guide faces are located symmetrically relative to the central path. Two air holes are respectively defined between the two guide faces and the nozzle. The air flow from the guide faces interests the air flow form the air holes to increase the range of the air flow to guide the paint in the paint path to be ejected from the nozzle.
Abstract:
A sealer gun that discharges a liquid of a coating agent or filler from a nozzle on its tip is securely prevented from producing dripping that arises as a liquid drips from the nozzle tip and remains when the liquid discharge stops. A pump including a cylinder and a freely movable piston fitting therein is assembled onto a discharge cylinder of the sealer gun, an operation rod interlocked with the pump piston and a grip are interlocked via an interlock mechanism to perform pump operation of suction-discharge by movement of the piston caused by pivoting of the grip, and a suction-discharge aperture of the pump is positioned in an internal space of the nozzle, and configured so that when the liquid discharge sops by releasing the grip, a negative or positive pressure is introduced into the nozzle because of the pump operation caused by resilient pivoting of the grip.
