Abstract:
There is a demand for enhancement of operability when a change of combination of rollers of a chassis dynamometer and the dynamometer is set depending upon a vehicle type of a test vehicle. A status indicating function block that indicates an equipment construction is disposed in a main menu display area that is provided on a console. With this arrangement, a current test status can be recognized. Further, a vehicle type selection window calling function block is disposed in a mode setting function button group in the main menu display area. A vehicle type selection window called by the vehicle type selection window calling function block includes a roller selection section to select rollers corresponding to the test vehicle, a setting display section that indicates a current setting equipment construction, and a setting display section that indicates a setting equipment construction during change of the setting.
Abstract:

The compounds of the invention are represented by general formula (1): wherein A is any one of the following groups (i)-(iii): (i) —CH(OH)—B— wherein B is a C1-6 alkylene group; (ii) —COCH(COOR3)-Bb- wherein R3 is a C1-6 alkyl group and Bb is a C1-6 alkylene group; and (iii) -Bc- wherein Bc is a C2-6 alkylene group, and include optical isomers and salts of the compounds.
Abstract:
The solid-state imaging device according to the present invention includes: pixel units arranged two-dimensionally in rows and columns; signal holding units each holding an analog signal outputted from one of the pixel units in a corresponding one of the columns; and column AD circuits each converting, into a digital signal, the analog signal held by a corresponding one of said signal holding units. The signal holding units and the column AD circuits are respectively provided for the columns of the pixel units. Each of the signal holding units includes: a switching element connected to a column signal line through which the analog signal outputted from the one of the pixel units is transmitted; and a capacitor element holding the analog signal and being connected to the column signal line through the switching element.
Abstract:
A flush toilet for discharging waste using flush water supplied from a flush water supply source is disclosed. The flush toilet comprises a bowl portion including a bowl-shaped waste receiving surface, a rim portion and a shelf portion; a water discharge path for discharging waste; a water spouting portion for spouting flush water onto the shelf portion of the bowl portion to form a swirl flow; and a water conduit for supplying the flush water to the water spouting portion; wherein the bowl portion includes a front region and a rear region, and the rim portion of the bowl portion is such that the curvature radius in the front region is equal to or smaller than the curvature radius of the rear region, and wherein the water spouting portion is formed on either the left or right side in the front region of the rim portion and spouts the flush water toward the front of the rim portion.
Abstract:
An electron beam apparatus, in which an electron beam emitted from an electron gun having a cathode and an anode is focused and irradiated onto a sample, and secondary electrons emanated from the sample are directed into a detector, the apparatus further comprising means for optimizing irradiation of the electron beam emitted from the electron gun onto the sample, the optimizing means may be two-stage deflectors disposed in proximity to the electron gun which deflects and directs the electron beam emitted in a specific direction so as to be in alignment with the optical axis direction of the electron beam apparatus, the electron beam emitted in the specific direction being at a certain angle with respect to the optical axis due to the fact that, among the crystal orientations of said cathode, a specific crystal orientation allowing a higher level of electron beam emission out of alignment with the optical axis direction.
Abstract:
