Abstract:
A dispensing gun has a gun body, a first component inlet, a second component inlet, a dispense head, a first valve, a second valve, a clamp, and a trigger. The component inlets are attached to the gun body for receiving components. The dispense head is for dispensing the components. The valves are attached to the gun body and there are valve stems for controlling the dispensing of the components. The clamp has an upper portion and a lower portion, with the first and second valve stems positioned in between the upper and lower portions. The two portions are attached such that the first and second valve stems move with movement of the valve actuator in a direction parallel to the axes of the valve stems. The trigger is attached to the gun body and controls movement of the clamp.
Abstract:
There are provided a two-fluid nozzle for effectively performing a liquid process on a substrate while suppressing a damage on the substrate, and a substrate liquid processing apparatus, a substrate liquid processing method and a storage medium using the two-fluid nozzle. The two-fluid nozzle includes a first liquid discharge hole for discharging a first liquid and a gas discharge hole for discharging a gas, and discharges, toward a target object, a mixed fluid of the first liquid discharged from the first liquid discharge hole and the gas discharged from the gas discharge hole. The mixed fluid is mixed at an outside of the two-fluid nozzle. The two-fluid nozzle further includes a second liquid discharge hole for supplying a second liquid toward an outer periphery of a target spot on the target object or toward an inner side of the outer periphery of the target spot.
Abstract:
A method and a device for producing particles in which a liquid is atomized into droplet sprays via at least two atomizers. At least two atomizers are arranged directed towards one another such that the droplet sprays produced thereby collide with one another so as to form mist, and that the device also includes a thermal reactor, where the mist forms particles having an average aerodynamic diameter of less than 1000 nm.
Abstract:
A fire suppression system is disclosed. The system includes a source of pressurized gas and a source of pressurized liquid. At least one emitter is in fluid communication with the liquid and gas sources. The emitter is used to establish a gas stream, atomize and entrain the liquid into the gas stream and discharge the resulting liquid-gas stream onto the fire. A method of operating the system is also disclosed. The method includes establishing a gas stream having first and second shock fronts using the emitter, atomizing and entraining the liquid with the gas at one of the two shock fronts to form a liquid-gas stream, and discharging the stream onto the fire. The method also includes creating a plurality of shock diamonds in the liquid-gas stream discharged from the emitter.
Abstract:
Particles are removed from a surface of a substrate by a method comprising causing liquid aerosol droplets comprising water and a tensioactive compound to contact the surface with sufficient force to remove particles from the surface.
Abstract:
A perforated disk has a complete passage for a fluid and composed of an inlet opening, outlet openings, and at least one cavity positioned between them. The at least three functional plates of the perforated disk, each of which has a characteristic opening structure, are applied onto one another by electrodeposition (multilayer electroplating) so that the perforated disk is composed of a single piece. Gas supply openings through which a gas can be supplied in the direction of the fluid to be sprayed are located in the lower functional plate, thus providing very fine atomization of the fluid. The outlet openings are part of the gas supply openings. The perforated disk is especially suitable for use in injection valves for mixture-compressing internal combustion engines with externally supplied ignition.
Abstract:
A two-component spray nozzle, in particular for die spraying devices, comprising a nozzle inlet end for working medium and blast air as well as a nozzle outlet and, a blast air guiding portion having at least one blast air supply line connectable with a supply member for blast air, and a working medium guiding portion having at least one working medium supply line connectable with a supply mechanism for the working medium.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a sustainable shower apparatus (1) having: (i) a housing (2) for an object (3); and (ii) plurality of shower heads (4a, 4b, 5a, 5b, 6a, 6b, 7a, 7b) positioned at different heights for spraying a mist comprising a pressurised gas and a liquid on said object; wherein each shower head comprises at least one set of nozzles, where each set comprises: (a) a nozzle (22) for spraying said gas; and (b) adjacent thereto, at least one nozzle (20, 22) for spraying said liquid, and wherein in each said set, the tip of each nozzle for spraying said liquid is at an acute angle to the tip of each adjacent nozzle for spraying gas.
Abstract:
A mist generating apparatus is provided. The apparatus has a longitudinal axis and comprises first and second opposing surfaces which define a transport fluid nozzle between them. The apparatus also has a working fluid passage having a supply passage connectable to a supply of working fluid, and an outlet on one of the first and second surfaces. The working fluid outlet communicates with the transport fluid nozzle. The transport fluid nozzle has a nozzle inlet connectable to a supply of transport fluid, a nozzle outlet, and a throat portion intermediate the nozzle inlet and nozzle outlet. The nozzle throat has a cross sectional area which is less than that of either the nozzle inlet or the nozzle outlet. The transport fluid nozzle projects radially from the longitudinal axis such that the nozzle defines a rotational angle of at least 5 degrees about the longitudinal axis. A method of generating a mist using the apparatus is also provided.
Abstract:
