    Abstract: Articles or substrates with surface(s) where liquid A has low adhesion at specified condition is produced by applying substance B in liquid or in dissolved form to surface of the substrate or article in amount that covers the surface, and using surface having many depressions and/or elevations. Production of articles or substrates with surface(s) where liquid A has low adhesion at temperature where T is at leastT1, comprises applying substance B in liquid or in dissolved form to surface S of the substrate or article in amount that covers the surface, and using surface having many depressions and/or elevations. The average distance between adjacent elevations is 0.01-500mum, and the average height difference between mutually adjacent elevations and depressions is 0.01-500mum. The substance B is immiscible with the liquid A and soluble to less than 0.1 g/L at 20degreesC and 1013 mbar. It is from low-molecular weight and oligomeric substances B1 that are liquid temperature T1, or plastic polymerase substances B2 that do not have a measurable flow threshold at temperature at leastT1.
