    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a temperature sensor whose accuracy is enhanced by a method wherein a temperature-dependent frequency signal is independent of a threshold voltage which traverses any transistor out of a plurality of transistors. SOLUTION: A microprocessor is interconnected to various components by a system bus 12. A read-only memory(ROM) 16 is connected to a CPU 10 via the system bus 12. A fundamental input/output system which controls a fundamental computer function is provided. A random access memory(RAM) 14, an I/D adaptor 18 and a communication adaptor 34 are interconnected to the system bus 12. A user performs an input operation to the system via a keyboard 24, a track ball 32 or a mouse 26 so as to receive an output from the system via a loudspeaker 28 and a display 38.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system architecture for high-speed serial bus having compatibility with IEEE 1394 standard. SOLUTION: A transaction interface 210 adjusts a data bus sent from an IEEE 1394 bus. A kernel/scheduler/dispatcher 22- allocates memory resources and starts various tasks and services. The task and service change while depending on an application layer. The transaction interface 210 utilizes information derived from a received data packet to arrange the data packet in the suitable task queue. When any other message control block does not exist in a specified queue corresponding to the called task, the called task is immediately started. In the other case, a message control block stands by for being finally processed in the queue.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a complex controller by controlling a micro actuator that is connected to a positioning arm so that it can be rotated according to a position error signal(PES) and controlling the controlling of a voice coil motor according to the sum of the PES and a relative positional signal for reflecting the position of the actuator regarding the arm. SOLUTION: In a first addition node 30, a positional signal (y) of a read/write head that is fitted to a micro actuator 20 is subtracted from a reference track signal (r) to generate a head position error signal(PES) e2 for indicating a tracking error. The actuator 20 is moved to a position y2 that is relative to the arm by a first control signal u2 based on the PES e2. In a second addition node 34, the PES e2 is added to the relative position signal y2 to generate a motor error signal e1. The motor 10 moves an arm 12 to a position y1 that is relative to the motor 10 according to the second control signal u1 based on the motor error signal e1.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use the low specific resistance mutual metal connecting body in an integrated circuit by forming the deep groove in an insulating layer along a contact region by etching, exposing a part of the contact region, and filling the upper groove, wherein the mutual connecting body is specified and formed, with silver and the like by plating. SOLUTION: An insulating layer 112 is formed on insulating layers 104 and 106 and conductive plug 110 along a substrate 102. Then, the insulating layer 112 is formed in the pattern and is selectively etched. Thus, a groove 114 is formed. In the groove 114, a part of the conductive plug 110 is exposed and extended on the insulating layers 104 and 106 to the other conductive plug, in contact with the different device or the input-output pads. The path of the mutual connecting body formed in the groove 114 is specified. Then, the upper part of the insulating layer 112 and the inside of the groove 114 are plated. A silver layer 116 is formed, and the groove 114 is filled. Thereafter, the part of the silver layer 116 at the upper side than the insulating layer 112 is removed through CMP, and the mutual connecting body is formed.

The storage of one row of the tile 402 in the word immediately, after the word storing the precedent row of the tile 402 makes it possible to easily retrieve those rows with a single burst and the bandwidth needed for a decoding process is reduced.
