Disclosed are a motion sensor-based portable automatic interpretation apparatus which can certainly detect a starting point and an ending point of a speech of a user in the portable automatic interpretation apparatus to improve quality of an automatic interpretation system, and a method for controlling the same. The disclosed apparatus comprises a motion sensing unit sensing the motion of the portable automatic interpretation apparatus; a speech starting point detecting unit detecting a speech starting point based on an output signal from the motion sensing unit; and a speech ending point detecting unit detecting a speech ending point based on an output signal from the motion sensing unit after completing the detection of the speech starting point.

구단위 번역 지식 학습 방법 및 이를 수행하는 장치가 개시된다. 구단위 번역 지식 학습은 먼저, 입력된 양국어 말뭉치 및 원시언어 명사구를 기반으로 상기 원시언어 명사구에 대응되는 목표언어 명사구 번역지식 구축 후보를 선정하고, 양국어 말뭉치 중 원시언어의 자동번역을 수행한 결과에 기초하여 선정된 명사구 번역지식 구축 후보 중 명사구 번역지식을 수집한 후, 수집된 명사구 번역지식을 사용자에게 검증받기 위한 사용자 인터페이스를 제공하고, 검증된 명사구 번역지식을 저장한다. 따라서, 명사구 구단위 번역 지식을 자동으로 학습할 수 있고, 정확하고 신뢰성있는 번역 지식을 확장할 수 있다.

The present invention relates to an apparatus for constructing a task graph in a dialog processing system based on the task graph. The apparatus includes a task graph management interface for providing a client environment that can correct a task graph; a library interface for providing a client environment that can correct a dialog library; a slot system management interface for providing a client environment that can correct a slot system; a task knowledge management interface for providing a client environment that can correct task knowledge; and a dialog system engine for reflecting a knowledge for controlling a corrected dialog flow of the task graph management interface, the library interface, the slot system management interface, and the task knowledge management interface.

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for verifying a context which verify a dual meaning expression of an input sentence and use the verified expression as a context in interpretation or translation according to a user`s context. For said purpose, the present invention comprises: a dual meaning expression verification part for verifying the dual meaning expression in a first input sentence and a reversely translated sentence for the first input sentence by the input of a user; a context generation part for generating the verified dual meaning expression as the context; and a context control part for controlling the generated context to be applied in translating or interpreting the first input sentence or second input sentences inputted after the first input sentence is inputted. The present invention improves interpretation and translation quality of a bidirectional automatic interpretation and translation device and enhances the communication with a communication partner from a quality and a time perspective.

The present invention relates to an automatic interpreting and translating device to interpret and translate a source language into a target language. The automatic interpreting and translating device comprises: a voice recognizing unit to convert a voice of a source language to a text if the voice of the source language is inputted, and convert a voice of a target language to a text if the voice of the target language is inputted; and an automatic translating unit to translate the converted text of the source language to the target language to output a translation result of the target language if the voice of the source language is converted to the text of the source language by the voice recognizing unit, and correct the text of the converted target language to output a translation result of the target language if the voice of the target language is converted to the text of the target language by the voice recognizing unit. Therefore, the automatic interpreting and translating device performs the natural correction to the target language, thereby improving availability and performance of the device.

Provided is a dialogue management system which includes a dialogue system data base where dialogue system data base knowledge for generating a system response sentence about a temporary speech sentence is constructed, a dialogue system engine which generates the system response sentence based on the dialogue system base knowledge when a speech sentence of the same words as the temporary speech sentence is inputted, and a user interface which reconstructs or edits the dialogue system base knowledge as dialogue system knowledge according to external command input when there is an error in the system response sentence and performs a test on user intension and language comprehension about the speech sentence.

Disclosed are a machine translation post-processing system based on user participation and a method thereof. According to the present invention, the machine translation post-processing system based on user participation includes: a machine translation engine which provides statistical machine translation (SMT) and statistically-enhanced rule-based machine translation (RBMT) using a dual-language corpus database for a source language sentence inputted by a user; a user interface which is used to receives corrections for machine translation results by the machine translation engine from the user; a post-processing rule generator which compares the final sentence corrected through the user interface and the sentence translated by the machine translation engine and generates post-processing rules according to correction details; and an application range re-adjuster which re-adjusts the application range of rules for dual-language corpora based on the post-processing rules generated by the post-processing rule generator. Disclosed are a word class tagging method based on morpheme separation and a device thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the word class tagging method includes: a step of performing morpheme separation for a predetermined raw corpus; a step of searching for one or more documents similar to input text based on the result of the morpheme separation; a step of performing domain adaptation of a morpheme separation model and a word class tagging model using the searched similar documents; and a step of tagging word classes to the input text using the morpheme separation model and the word class tagging model to which domain adaptation is performed. The searching step uses a search database which is built by processing a group of documents in which the raw corpus is separated by morpheme based on the result of the morpheme separation or uses a plurality of clusters acquired by clustering the documents in which the raw corpus is separated by morpheme based on the result of the morpheme separation. By doing so, even if the word spacing among morphemes of the raw corpus is not clear, it is possible to perform domain adaptation of morpheme separation and word class tagging and to remove limitation of linguistic expandability. PURPOSE: An omitted component restoration method and an apparatus for Chinese machine translation, and a Chinese machine translation method and an apparatus including the same are provided to classify an omitted expression included in a Chinese dialogue sentence, and to restore the omitted expression according an omission type, thereby providing an accurate auto-translation result. CONSTITUTION: An input Chinese dialogue sentence is divided into work units, and the property is extracted based on morpheme analysis information with respect to the division result and the word (S1100). An omission type of the input Chinese dialogue sentence is estimated based on the extracted property (S1200). The omitted portion of the input Chinese dialogue sentence is restored according to the omission type (S1300). The estimation probability of the omitted component is improved by using the morpheme analysis information with respect to the word, and the morpheme analysis information includes the part of speech of the word and definition information.
