    Abstract: Un proceso para preparar un material zeolítico que contiene estaño y que tiene una estructura de marco de tipo MWW, que comprende (i) proporcionar un material zeolítico que tenga una estructura de marco de tipo MWW que comprenda X2O3 y YO2, en la que Y es un elemento tetravalente seleccionado del grupo que consiste en Si, Ti, Zr, Ge y combinaciones de dos o más de ellos, en la que Y es preferentemente Si, y X es un elemento trivalente seleccionado del grupo que consiste en Al, B, In, Ga, Fe y combinaciones de dos o más de ellos, en la que X es preferentemente B, dicha estructura de marco de tipo MWW con sitios tetraédricos vacantes; (ii) proporcionar una fuente de iones de estaño en forma sólida, en la que la fuente de iones de estaño se selecciona del grupo que consiste en alcóxidos de estaño (II), alcóxidos de estaño (IV), sales de estaño (II) de ácidos orgánicos, sales de estaño (IV) de ácidos orgánicos, y una mezcla de dos o más de ellos; (iii) incorporar estaño al material zeolítico proporcionado en el inciso i) poniendo el material zeolítico proporcionado en el inciso i) en contacto con la fuente de iones de estaño proporcionada en el inciso ii) en condiciones de intercambio iónico en estado sólido, obteniendo un material zeolítico que contiene estaño y que tiene una estructura de marco de tipo MWW.

    Abstract: A continuous process for the preparation of propylene oxide, comprising a start-up stage and normal run stage, wherein the normal run stage comprises (i) continuously providing a liquid feed stream comprising propene, hydrogen peroxide, acetonitrile, a formate salt, water and optionally propane, wherein in the liquid feed stream, the molar amount of the formate salt relative to the molar amount of hydrogen peroxide at a given point of time during the normal run stage is aN(Fo/H2O2); (ii) continuously passing the liquid feed stream provided in (i) into an epoxidation zone comprising a catalyst comprising a titanium zeolite having framework type MWW, and subjecting the liquid feed stream to epoxidation reaction conditions in the epoxidation zone, obtaining a reaction mixture comprising propylene oxide, acetonitrile, water, the formate salt, optionally propene, and optionally propane; (iii) continuously removing an effluent stream from the epoxidation zone, the effluent stream comprising propylene oxide, acetonitrile, water, at least a portion of the formate salt, optionally propene, and optionally propane; wherein the normal run stage is characterized in an average rate of change of aN(Fo/H2O2) of less than 0 h−1.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the conversion of oxygenates to olefins comprising (i) providing a gas stream comprising one or more oxygenates; and (ii) contacting the gas stream with a catalyst; wherein the catalyst comprises a zeolitic material having an MFI, MEL, and/or MWW-type framework structure comprising YO2 and X2O3, wherein Y is a tetravalent element, and X is a trivalent element, said zeolitic material being obtainable and/or obtained according to a method comprising (1) preparing a mixture comprising one or more sources for YO2, one or more sources for X2O3, and one or more solvents; and (2) crystallizing the mixture obtained in step (1) to obtain a zeolitic material having an MFI, MEL and/or MWW-type framework structure; wherein the mixture crystallized in step (2) contains 3 wt.-% or less of the one or more elements M based on 100 wt.-% of YO2, wherein M stands for sodium.
