Abstract An alphanumeric display (10) includes a substrate (14) that has bottom (14a) and top (14b) surfaces, a plurality of electrical contacts (I-VIII) on the top surface (14b), a plurality of light-emitting electronic devices (12) mounted on the top surface (14b), and a plurality of electrical pads (50a-50i) on the bottom surface (14a). The electrical contacts (I-VIII) are connected to at least one light-emitting electronic device (12), and each of the light-emitting electronic devices (12) is electrically connected with corresponding ones of the electrical contacts (I-VIII). The electrical pads (50a-50i) are electrically connected to corresponding ones of the electrical contacts (I-VIII) for communicating to the light-emitting electronic devices (12) external sources of electrical power and control signals. The electrical pads (50a-50i) on the bottom surface (14a) are arranged in a pattern to facilitate connections to the display (10) using a conductive adhesive.

La présente invention concerne un circuit imprimé spécifique (7.) qui comporte gravé des blocs (4.) ou segments indépendants les uns des autres, en série de 4, de manière à ce que sur un montage série de 5 leds , les 4 blocs servent d'endroit de localisation et de connexion obligatoire pour la soudure de leur patte, soudées série anode cathode ou l'inverse selon le sens du courant, soit 8 électrodes, dans de tels blocs isolés, ce qui assure l'alimentation de la connexion et sa fixation correcte en série de 5. Ces blocs carrés ou rectangulaires sont de grande surface (2) de manière à ce que les perçages successifs n'arrachent pas le film de cuivre de l'époxy, et ils sont disposés selon un chemin, un dessin (21) successif suivant le symbole ou le motif à représenter par les leds (12), disposées et alignées sur l'autre face décorée de l'époxy. A mask for producing a printed circuit board is defined in which the conductor elements of the printed circuit pattern are delineated by a constant width etch band. This means that all conductors are separated from neighbouring areas of conductive material by the same distance. Thus etch rates across the printed circuit pattern do not vary according to the separation of the conductors.

The present disclosure generally relates to a shielded three-layer patterned ground structure in a PCB. The PCB may be disposed in a hard disk drive. Conductive traces in PCBs can have the problem of common mode current flowing through the traces and thus increasing the magnitude of EMI noise. By providing a shielded three-layer patterned ground structure, not only is the cost reduced, but so is the common mode current and the magnitude of EMI noise, all without any negative impact to the differential signal. The PCB (400) comprises a first shield layer (302) comprising a first conductive material; a second shield layer (304) that is spaced from the first shield layer by a first dielectric material, wherein the second shield layer comprises a second conductive material, wherein the second shield layer has a main portion and a first patterned ground structure (314), wherein the first patterned ground structure is spaced from the main portion on all sides by a moat (316) that is filled with a second dielectric material when viewed from a top view; a third shield layer (306) disposed over the second shield layer and spaced from the second shield layer by a third dielectric material, wherein the third shield layer comprises a first portion and a second portion, wherein the first portion and the second portion are each disposed over the moat when viewed from the top view; and a first set of traces (308) disposed between the first portion and the second portion.
