Abstract: PURPOSE: A neutrality sensing device of a manual transmission is provided to reduce a mounting space by forming the device in a same system with a double engagement preventing device, to be profitable for a layout of a vehicle, and to minimize interference with other parts. CONSTITUTION: A neutrality sensing device of a manual transmission is composed of a plurality of shift rails(2,4,6) for selectively moving in shifting and operating a synchronizer; interlock pins(12,14) arranged between shift rails and fitted into holes(3,5) penetrated to the shift rail moving in shifting and an adjacent shift rail to prevent the double engagement of the synchronizer; operating pins(22,24) inserted into the hole penetrated through the shift rail to slide in fitting the interlock pin; and a switch(30) separated from the operating pin in the sliding direction to apply an electric current in the neutral state and pressed and short-circuited by the operating pin sliding in shifting.

Abstract: PURPOSE: Assembling structure of a clutch hub for a synchronizer in a manual transmission is provided to improve the durability and operate the synchronizer actively by preventing wear of a spline of the clutch hub or a spline groove of an input shaft with forming the taper spline end of the clutch hub. CONSTITUTION: A spline is formed in the outer periphery of an input shaft(52) of a transmission, and a spline is formed in the inner periphery of a clutch hub(54) corresponding to the spline of the input shaft. The clutch hub is pressed and fitted to the input shaft of the transmission, and the end of the spline of the clutch hub is tapered at an angle of 1-10 degrees. The length of the taper end of the spline is 1-10 mm. Spline grooves(52a) are formed circumferentially in the outer periphery of the input shaft, and splines(54b) are formed circumferentially in the inner periphery of the clutch hub. Wear is prevented by inserting the spline end of the clutch hub to the spline groove of the input shaft.

Abstract: PURPOSE: A speed drive gear for a manual transmission is provided to reduce parts and simplify assembling process by integrally forming a gear part and a flange part of the speed drive gear, and to prevent noise and breakage by restricting clearance after assembling. CONSTITUTION: A speed drive gear of a manual transmission is composed of a gear part(10) combined with a main shaft(6) to receive rotational force of the main shaft, and engaged with the speed gear; and a flange part(12) integrally extended in the end of the gear part, and connected to a propeller shaft. A fixing nut(18) is inserted to the side of the flange part, and combined with the main shaft. The gear part is spline-combined with the main shaft, and the fixing nut is assembled with the flange part. The speed drive gear is fixed in the main shaft, and the flange part is assembled with the propeller shaft by the bolt. Driving force is transmitted through the main shaft to the propeller shaft in driving the engine. Parts and expenses are reduced with integrally forming the gear part and the flange part of the speed drive gear. Noise and breakage are prevented with assembling without clearance.
