    Abstract: PURPOSE: A carrier for a spare tire is provided to place the spare tire stably and to attach and detach the spare tire easily. CONSTITUTION: A carrier for a spare tire comprises a supporting member(20); an operating portion(30) and a carrier box. The supporting member is composed of a first frame(22) and a second frame(24). One ends of first and second frames are hinged. Hanging portions(22b, 24b) are formed to the other ends of first and second frames. Hanging portions are folded toward a lower side to hang a tire. The operating portion rotates first and second frames around a hinged portion. The carrier box moves the supporting member vertically by connecting to the supporting member with a wire(42). Therefore, attaching and detaching the spare tire is easy because the surface of placing the spare tire is divided into two. The surface is wide to place the spare tire stably.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A power steering noise-tuning device is provided to reduce the time for tuning and the number of noise tubes for a test manufactured to the minimum. CONSTITUTION: A power steering noise-tuning device includes a noise tube(10), a noise tube case, an oil supply device, and a rotating device. The noise tube has holes(11) having shapes and numbers vary according to the rotating angle. The noise tube case inserted in an oil hose has a slit formed longitudinally to control the oil rate supplied from the noise tube to the oil hose according to the rotating of the noise tube. The oil supply device supplies the oil of high pressure supplied from an oil pump to the noise tube. The rotating device rotates the noise tube inserted within the noise tube case. Tuning noise produced from an oil hose with just one noise tube for a test can be performed many times with different conditions. Therefore, the time of tuning and the number of the noise tube is reduced to the minimum.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: A pulsation damping apparatus in a power steering hydraulic system is provided to reduce abnormal pressure occurring to the power steering system because of pulsation when oil circulates. CONSTITUTION: A damper(A) is installed to a pressure hose(18) or a return tube. The damper is controlled by a control signal from a control device. The control device comprises a piezoelectric pressure detecting unit(100), an ECU(Electronic Control Unit,200) and an electric current supplying unit(300). The piezoelectric pressure detecting unit detects changes of pressure of oil in the pressure hose or the return tube. The ECU outputs a control signal to damp pulsation of oil according to changes of pressure of oil detected from the piezoelectric pressure detecting unit. The electric current supplying unit is synchronized by the control signal of the ECU to supply and cut electric current. Thereby, abnormal pressure of the power steering system caused by pulsation is controlled effectively.
