    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drawer structure of a storing container used in a refrigerator, wherein the storing container has a simplified construction which succeeds in reducing the number of parts thereof, whereby the storing container can be offered at a low cost. SOLUTION: A drawer structure of a storing container 14 used in a refrigerator requires no independent rails. Namely, a pair of rollers 15 and a pair of bearings 20 which support these rollers 15 are mounted at right and left sides of a front portion of a partition plate 11 which divides the inside of a refrigerator into upper and lower storing spaces. A rail 17 for preventing the swaying of the storing container 14 at the time of drawing is mounted on the partition plate 11 between the rollers 15 in a longitudinal direction. On the bottom face of the storing container 14 which slides in a longitudinal direction, a pair of guide ribs 18 are mounted in a longitudinal direction, while a pair of rollers 16 are mounted at right and left sides of a rear portion of the bottom face of the storing container 14. Due to such a construction, the drawer structure can be made compact and the number of parts is reduced so that the drawer structure can be offered at a low cost while preventing the swaying of the drawing container at the time of the drawing operation.

SOLUTION: An opaque shelf base 9 is disposed through a removable engaging means between longitudinal banks 14 formed on the opposite sides of a door inner plate 13 constituting a door body along with a case 11 made of transparent material and supported removably on the shelf base 9 from above while exposing at least the front side 11a of the circumferential wall above the shelf base 9. When the door is opened, contained articles can be viewed and identified easily from the front side and since the engaging means between the bank 14 and the shelf base 9 is invisible because of the opaque shelf base 9, a small contaminant adhering to the engaging means is inconspicuous.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator defining a refrigerating chamber in an upper layer and a drawer-type freezing chamber in a lower layer while having an ice making device therein, wherein the refrigerator is featured by an enlarged ice storing space and an improvement in handling of an ice scoop. SOLUTION: A freezing container 26 is provided with a partition wall 29 as an integral part thereof for defining a frozen food storing corner 27 and an ice storing corner 28. An ice storing box 30 is mounted in the ice storing corner 28 along the inner wall thereof. The partition plate 29 is provided with a crossing region 32 at a front portion of the outer side wall of the ice storing box 30 and such a crossing region 32 merges with the front wall 31 of the ice storing corner. The crossing region 32 is indented toward the frozen food storing corner 27 to define a recessed portion 33. Numeral 34 indicates a guide rib and an opening of the recessed portion 33 is disposed at an outer side wall of the ice storing box 30. Since an ice scoop 35 can be set between the recessed portion 33 formed toward the frozen food storing corner 27 and the guide rib 34, the ice storing box 30 can expand its storing space to a front wall of the freezing container thus assuring a maximum ice storing space.
